Special Ops: Hate 'O Christo Redentor' on Veteran. It's always the dogs that kill me. If you've played that one, can you give me any reasons to use claymores? They see pretty useless TBH

On the three attempts it took me to do it, I found an AA12 right at the start, every time. It was from some guy coming through the right-most alley, an AA12 w/ Heartbeat Sensor. Using this instantly made the mission a lot easier, both the auto shotgun and the HBS, running back to the ammo pile at the start every now and then.

 

I can't recall if there's a time limit but I do remember being very cautious and methodical so you should have time to take it slow.

 

Also, with the dogs: turn you volume up a bit and you can hear them barking as soon as they spawn, then just back into a corner with a long sightline.

The AA-12 is always there.

 

Just pick up the AA, pick off a few guys using the HBS, return to startpoint, pick off some more guys, etc. That's how I did it. Also, dog barking > return to startpoint and wait for them to come running and pick them off at a distance.

Got a minor problem here, but I noticed when I'm host there is hardly any player that joins during the game. Like lets say 2 players leave the opposite team, no one else would join and fill there those 2 available slots. So it usually is a 4vs3 game or some un-even match. Anyone else gets this when they are host?

 

I do notice that players begin to join once the match is over. ( When the Player Menu shows for all). Gets kinda boring when its like 5vs3 or just not enough players. The reason I hate being Host.

Yeah, its pretty stupid once I was playing with a friend on Ground War and we got Highrise 6 times in a row (same lobby,) but the opposing team (based on voice chat and skill) were a bunch of 12 year olds, so we played them till they all got tired of losing and left.

Searched for a domination game, and was entered into a lobby with a load of noobs, i thought "yay major pwnage time for me "

How wrong i was.

 

A second after thinking that a load of level 9/10 prestige players entered the lobby, the teams were split, i got all the noobs and all the higher rankers went together (No clan tags by the way)

I sh*t my pants immediately but thought id stick it out to see how it went. The map we were going on was Invasion which is my favorite, so i thought id have some chance. Wrong again.

 

Match started, after about 2 minutes all my team mates were on 10 plus deaths and NO kills, and i was on 2-2. Match ended after about 3 minutes when a guy called in a nuke, i finished top in my team...going 3-4!! We got Raped completely, then when the match was over, every single one of the higher players left, and it was me and the noobs again.

 

I took a picture of the score tables, it was the strangest thing ive ever experienced.

Ive just experienced the strangest thing thats ever happened to me playing COD online.

Someone else might explain it better, but if you haven't thought or done this, it could help.

Most of the time when I join Search and Destroy, it's 3 / 3 and there's one person left on the team that I'm on. Matchmaking is screwed up, and Mw2 is so boring now, that I've started to play COD4 again.

Ive got an 'open' nat type...

 

Can you elaborate on why its bad? and also how id go about changing it..?

Open NAT is advised for consoles and putting them in the DMZ is also fine as they don't get viruses/hacked.

An open NAT type isn't bad. Being on the DMZ is bad. If you didn't put yourself on the DMZ, you're fine.

Any tips for getting the Counter-MVP challenge? I swear it's glitched because I'm pretty sure I've killed the #1 player on the enemy team 10+ times several games but never got it.

I finally got my 2nd nuke, i'm pretty happy about it because i've been trying for so damn long to do it. I was playing CTF on Karachi and managed to get a chopper gunner right at the start of the 2nd half, having carried over my 10 killstreak from the 1st half, got up to around 17 kills with that and just played it extra cautious and racked up the last 8 kills and got it half way through the round. I waited until overtime though as it was 2-2 at the end of the 2nd half and just called it in as soon as we started. It's so awesome getting a nuke when you don't get them often. I was using a FAMAS w/ FMJ if anyone was wondering.

Umm, only good spot I can think of would be out on the end of that crane off to the side. Although, getting out there without dieing would be pretty tricky.

In that same building in back left (opposite of the stair access) is a desk that NO ONE EVER looks behind. I hid there for the last two minutes of a Hardcore TDM after getting 18-0 so I could get the "played an entire game without dying" accolade. People walked right in front of me...a few close enough that I could knife them.

When using a chopper gunner on highrise I usuually drop off the side of the map into those window cleaning platforms.

 

I've not noticed anyone else doing this but I think it's actually better to lay down in the open, as you can 'defend' your green cross position marker, rather than seeing someone run a building where you are hiding and not being able to do anything about it. Obviously this only works on some maps like afgan and wasteland as there isn't much blocking your choppers line of sight.

emergency airdrops/sentry drops/care packages are basically the same, unlimited.

and no, that one has been patched.

the new one involves holding your marker, pressing X somewhere where it prompts you and switch to weapon and then back to marker.

you call it in, switch to same class with OMA and you have another one.
