Yeah, or my friend and I don't go to the same game. Sometimes he goes into Domination and all of a sudden I'm in a Ground War match. And sometimes it just doesn't find a match at all.

^I managed to get it, just use FMJ with stopping power. You will eveuntally get it.

 

@james227 I know how you feel, it's my biggest frustration with this game. They should rename the game to Call of Lobby: Modern Lagfare 2

Yeah, it happened yesyerday and I got disconnected after about 10secs. I just pushed forward on the stick and went flying.

 

I just changed from silencer to red dot and the ACR does seem a bit more powerful

Meh, I don't get all the frustration people have about FMJ with ARs/SMGs. I've only bothered to do it with 2 guns, the UMP45 and the ACR and both were pretty straightforward. Although, I will concede that you've got to get in the right mindset. I did the ACR in about 2 hours(ish) of playing last night/this morning; hell once I got into it I got the last 10 kills in one game. That was on Skidrow, which is the easiest map for FMJ kills hands down.

 

Things to remember when going for Ex. Mags (with and AR/SMG):

• You can shoot through anything, within reason, at any distance. A good tactic I had was on Estate, once I'd spotted a sniper, put a tree between me and them, I'm talking a tree that's like 3 or 4 metres from me, and just lay into them. Once I realised that my bullets carried on for almost any distance even after passing through something life got a lot easier.

 

• Take your time, if you're in a window and see some guy running through the open, line him up slighting off to the right, move slightly to the left so you're looking at the wall next to the window and fire away. Admittedly this takes a bit of practice go get it to a point where you can do it quickly, but it pays off.

 

• Keep you finger on the trigger, with FMJ on, concrete walls are your bitch. This one's a bit counter intuitive, and once again takes a bit of getting used to but it is simple. If you're firing at a guy and he gets behind cover, get into the habit of just keeping the trigger depressed and keep following him. Definitely the easiest way to get FMJ kills.

there is modders that have this glitch that can put you back to rank 1 prestige 0 dont ask me how but its going around and one of my friends is selling the game because of it cuz he got put to rank 1 again and he was prestige 3

I just use Stopping Power. I can't stand my weapons without a red dot sight. (Besides shotguns) And I can't be bothered with Blingpro, I need that damn Marathon perk.

Yep. This isn't a troll or anything, there really are hacked matches out there that will reset everything.

A recent problem i've had with 360 MP. A friend and i would party up for some Group MW2 action, and then when finally finding a game, we would join the lobby, Our mic symbols would disappear, it would say waiting, kick out the host, say looking for best host, and then one of us would get kicked out.

 

So god damn frustrating. The only way we know we have actually made it to a game is if our Mic symbols haven't disappeared.

whenever i play with jamie and widow because our connections differ so much, i think they are both based in the UK while i am from Aus, i always get booted from the lobby and have to join through session in progress. p frustrating.

Ok, I ain't going to play this game in a while I think. This is getting f*cking ridiculous. IW ain't doing sh*t and they don't care. This game is f*cked up.

 

If they made their own proper system that's fine... but they just ported the crappy ass console matchmaking system without adjusting it for the PC so it's protected properly. Heck, even console gamers f*ck sh*t up now aswel.

I hope they're going to fix this game someday so we won't have to play 100 matches full of hackers, glitchers and other f*cked up bullsh*t before going into a proper normal match.

I don't get why we're not even allowed to choose which map we want to play. I've got to exit and rejoin until I find the one I want.

 

The game is still addicting as all f*ck though, I'll give it that. I don't think I've even had it a week yet, and I've already finished the campaign and gotten to level 35 on MP, as well damn near maxed out everything for my M4.

the ex mags are the hardest to get no matter what gun you use (other than the secondaries).

just stick with FMJ and you'll eventually get it. i got 9 penetration kills at Karachi once but that was about the 20th game i played with FMJ on my Tar aswell. thankfully tho it got me 11k in xp seeing as it was the last attachment i needed to get the Expert thing. FMJ is a pain. it doenst make much of a difference with the TAR especially. so now im just rolling in Hardcore TDM with my TAR with ACOG and HBS (Say what you may but i love catching campers by surprise.

 

best match i had tho was at the Small appartment area map. i got a 8 killstreak with my USP silence tacKnife by itself. including a hacking sniper (shot me through the appartment building in the middle of the map all three walls incuded) needless to say they three people "guarding" the sniper were calling me a p*ssy yet they have to use mods to be any good and i still raped them with my pistol and they never had a chance to shoot me. i was thouroly suprised tho that there was not a single Claymore anywhere near the sniper

Play Hardcore matches. It's much easier then.

I have Cold Blooded on my Sniper and Knife classes, that's it. Everything else has stopping power so I don't have to use Bling and FMJ. I can't use ironsights for sh*t. I need a Red Dot.

 

My preferred class atm is ACR + RD, Akimbo Rangers, Scavenger: Pro (I go through a sh*t ton of bullets), Stopping Power: Pro, and Ninja: Pro, then I swap between Final Stand and Martyrdom depending on my mood.

 

I just Prestiged though so my leveling one atm (level 12) is Scar + RD, Spaz, Scavenger: Pro, Stopping Power: Pro, and Command (or whatever the increased melee range one is) with Painkiller deathstreak.

Does anyone in here have the dropping crates title? If so without boosting? It just seems close to impossible, I was one kill to early yesterday. Managed to kill someone with an emergency airdrop second to last kill..

Yeah, Droppin' Crates is pretty much a one-in-a-million challenge, as I would put it. But it's gonna feel so good when you get it without boosting

Sucks about the reset hack being 360, I thought it would have been PC. I might have a short break in that case.

 

On a lighter note, I am the man with a throwing knife. Recently I was playing a game where I killed someone with one, ran over to the body, picked up the knife then instantly threw it again and killed someone a fair distance away. I've just got the "It's Personal" and "Carnie" challenges as well. One more thing, Attack Helicopter... worst killstreak reward ever. That is all.

I just got my first Tactical Nuke !

 

I wanted to play a bit before I go sleep and Scarface decided to join me. Got on Demolition. After a game on Derail, it was time for Afghan. End of round 2, we're losing 0-1. I got an 8 kill streak, unlocking my Harrier. Though, there were only 24 seconds left on the clock, so I saved it for the next one, as we won this round. A few seconds in the new round, I call the Harrier near the edge where snipers camp. The first to bombers get me a kill, the harrier gives me one, I kill another guy. Unlocked my AC130. Got 9 kills with it, making my kill streak stand at 20. By now my heart is racing. I get two kills, then, this guy comes running near me, I shoot and I miss, I have to reload (I'm prone all the time), but he didn't kill me, so (thanks to Sleigh of Hand Pro), I reload and kill him. My heart is f*cking racing. Hadn't felt that in ages. So, by now, I have around 3 kills left. Two running from the cave, barely killed them. Reload. Then out of almost nowhere, another guy runs right at me, I don't have time to shoot, so I utilized my Commando Pro and knife the f*cker, unlocking my very first Tactical Nuke. Then I got killed not a second after. Respawn and hit 4. Tactical Nuke go boom. And some 1st Prestige 49-er calls me a "f*cking noob".

 

Man, that was awesome!
