I reached rank 70 yesterday and unlocked the AK. It's a pretty good weapon, not sure if I prefer it over the TAR, though.

 

I'm not sure whether to prestige. I'm not too bothered about losing weapons, as I can easily unlock my favorites as they are unlocked at the start.

 

Is it true that when you prestige you unlock another Custom Class slot?

I almost got a Nuke in Highrise today, in Dominition. I died while I was using the chopper gunner. Got to 20 kills with it. Damn! there aren't any hiding spots in it anyway.

Just an interesting aside, The local Goodwill got more copies of the game in, not the PC version, but Xbox 360. Last one I contemplated buying was severely scratched, but they can't all be, can they???

The AK47 is good weapon, this time though they killed its long range shot. I miss a lot when I aim at a target far away. Only thing that disappoints me.

 

I still need to get a nuke on Skidrow, Rust, Scrapyard. I hate Scrapyard because when you get a Chopper Gunner its so easy for the enemy team to shoot it down. The chopper gunner always starts so far off the map, so people get a chance to shoot it down easily.

Man I just had my best game ever. I think I was like 28-10 or something like that. Got my Killstreak all the way up to Chopper Gunner. Tried to take a screenshot but it just came out all black Ah well, I'm getting better. Hopefully I'll get some more good games soon.

Just get a nuke the legit way, it really isn't TOO hard and plenty of people have had Nukes, so it's not like it's impossible

If you haven't used the Harrier, it's definitely worth trying. The Attack Heli has been pretty much useless when I've used it, plus with the Harrier you get the airstrike.

The Pave Low is worth trying too. The kills don't count towards your streak, but if you're not looking for a nuke that's not much of a problem.

That's what i use and has gotten me some massive killstreaks.

 

You get the five kills, Predator can usually get atleast one if your not a tard, If your harrier pilot is in a good mood he gets a couple, then the slaughter begins in your attack chopper. Mwuahahaha.

New fun hack on PC: You can edit your mpdata with a hex editor to give yourself up to five perks. It'll be patched soon (already patched on consoles), but goddamn it's hilarious to see someone with Sleight of Hand, OMA, Danger Close, Stopping Power, and Cold Blooded.

Surely IW can do something about this sh*t? It`s getting to be like two out of three matches in FFA have a couple of players doing this (only when the British kids have come home from school, mind)

Yeah but what if you're doing that but not to get a nuke but you're killing some stupid player who keeps putting tactical insertion in the same place even though he knows you're there? Exactly.

...but nobody ever replaces a legit tactical insertion when they know someone is watching over their last one. I`ve done it before where I killed a guy after I`d noticed his flare, I killed him straight away and he respawned somewhere else. What I`m saying is if it happens three times in a row in quick succession the you (or at least the game) should know something is up

thats actually pretty fun to do me and my friend got 20 nukes with that, and over 10000 xp per match, also as we shot only headshots so we got always 50 extra xp and pass those expert challenges

 

im sure u guys think me as noob now lol

 

btw heres instructions how to do this boosting: First get friend with u then go to Free For All match and find match not full, then ur friend joins in ur session by using "Join Session" thingy

 

Second, i recommend headsets for this, find Locations "out of the way" for example behind that radio tower in estate then go there hide in there with ur friend

 

Third u and ur mate place tactical insertion(well u dont rlly, [iF u are the one boosting], have to do it, but if u get killed by someone else u can get revenge) then if ur the one who wants to get kills u shoot ur mate in head and he spawns in front of u then wait for him to place tactical then kill him and so on,

I think IW should release a patch that in every game, you can use 'X' amount of tactical insertions. Somewhere around ~15.

That`s your own fault for camping next to it! Think about it for a few seconds and then you`ll realise how to use one. Place your tactical insertion overlooking or just round the corner from your camping spot and when you respawn you`ll have an instant kill.

 

Edit: I do love killing players whodo that tho, because they usually wait until they are thrown back into the game, and have to watch the kill-cam before instant death

Protip: Don't put your tactical insertion right next to you. Hide it nearby then when you are killed, respawn and take out your killer.

This. For two very good reasons:

1. You get a kill, and piss off you killer to no end especially if you repeat this throughout the match. Everybody hates it when you kill someone if you linger too long they're on your arse again (although everyone does it), they hate it even more when it happens almost instantly.

 

2. After doing this 25 times, with the kill coming within 5 seconds of inserting, You get this title. One of my personal favourites.

 

On a completely different note. After a break of the game for about 3 weeks, I'm back and in the swing of things again, with my new favourite tactic for kill streaks. Using both care package and EAD makes for a lot of kills depending on you luck with the packages. I've also started using throwing knives again after ages, I f*cking love these things and even managed to get a lucky one right across Highrise at the start of a match. Cue "Woah"s and "WTF"s from my team and a smug face from me.

Ok, before any of you call bullsh*t, this happened to both Edmachine and I.

 

We decided to play together, so I invited him, and we decided to do Ground War. After a few minutes, it found a suitable game for us, which was Scrapyard. When we entered the game, there where only 3 people there, and the scored was way over the limit. The mode was TDM. Right after I got my first kill, it just randomly changed to this huge ass TDM match on rust. Now it gets better.

 

We both spawned and I ran forward to see that the speed was like super increased. It's probably 3 times the normal speed. So I ran up behind this guy and shot him in the head. Before I killed him I was level 35. After I killed him I was level 70. That's in Second Prestige. I killed a few more people and every kill I got was worth something like 1.99999 x ^144. Basically each kill you got was worth infinite points. After a few minutes of shock, awe, and this is awesome, it timed out. Any ideas what the f*ck we expeirenced? A deadicated server or what?

Yes, it indeed did happen. And it was f*cking awesome. And hilarious. 18 levels in one kill. Entered 2nd Prestige. Which sucks, actually . I'd love to see that happen again, although some could consider it unfair (seeing as you go to Commander and then some in one kill), but it helps me get to 10th Prestige (which I'll probably never reach anyway ).

I think the jump height was altered too. But it was a surprise to suddenly run at 3x the normal speed.
