Im one of those players who can have a really good game, then an absolute shocker the next.

It was in fact like that when i got my one and only nuke. I joined a TDM express, first game was on Derail, which i really cannot stand, Silenced snipers gtfo lol... i think i went like 10-14. second game was on quarry where i got my nuke, ended that game 32-2 with the extra kills. The game immediatley after that on skidrow i had av even worse game thanthe first, where i went 8-15. My final game of the morning was on Karachi, and i missed my nuke by 1 kill, i was 24-0 up after about 3-4 mins, it ended aabout 30-13 in the end.

I just need to find some consistency

 

And because i think my Nuke was a fluke, i may start using care pack, emergency airdrop and chopper gunner to get my K/D back up. its dropped to 1.15 from 1.19 over the last sort of month

I just completed the Campaign on Veteran, I must say, it was a lot easier than I imagined. But the 315G extra was worth it.

Ive been playing awesome lately to be fair, ive found the perfect class for my style of play,

 

AUG BAR (Grip Attachment)

SPAS Shotgun (No Attachment)

Claymores

Stun Grenades

Scavenger pro

Steady aim Pro

(Forgot the red perk)

 

I find the AUG BAR to be an amazing gun, i went 32 -1 yesterday on wasteland, which is usually my worst map! ( on domination by the way)

 

And then on maps like favela and karachi i was rinsing people with it from distances, and whipping out the shotgun for them close encounters

Got two nukes today, and a knife kill streak of 6.

 

The TAR is such a beastly weapon.

 

I'm also in the process of beating Campaign on Veteran. I'm all the way up to Contingency, what a cock of a mission that is.

 

I'm not looking forward to Loose Ends, either. That mission was solid on Hardened, let alone Veteran.

I think the F2000 is plenty accurate. You just have to fire in bursts which isn't all too difficult.

 

I like the gun, it has a high ROF, fairly accurate, and the damage is good enough to get at least 2-3 kills from a mag.

Spectre II (prestige only): Get 250 kills with an AC130 rewards 5000 xp and the silver "AC130" title

For the Spectre challenges, how many prestiges must I get through to unlock those challenges? And if I go into prestige now,(and only 1 prestige is required to unlcok the challenges) do the AC130 kills I got before the prestige count to the 1000 AC130 kills needed?

No, they don't start getting counted until you prestige. Plus the amount of time it takes for you to do the challenges depends on how often you actually get an AC-130, i've seen people in 1st or 2nd prestige with the last callsign thing you get for doing them all.

Good thing that I prestiged... makes you change your perk loadouts more (and realise that Ninja isn't really that necessary in order to have a winning setup).

 

Same thing counts for Scavenger and O.M.A. Although I do look foward to get O.M.A. again :].

 

God, ACOG's ruin most weapons. Suddenly they have 10 times more recoil for some reason and/or terrible sway on some weapons (Sniper Rifles). I hate how they 'balance' most things... it's just retarded.

 

Anyways, so these 'prestige challenges' are the only ones that stay? (in other words: the progress on these 'prestige challenges' don't get erased once you prestige again?). Cool, though I'd rather have an extra weapon or something as a reward for prestiging (along with the 'extra class slot).

 

As I said before: M40/Colt 1911 Sidearm/... wouldn't be bad as a 'reward'.

OK, I've decided that playing Domination on Estate is pointless if your team starts near the house, or the 'A' flag. Both times it's happened, all that my useless team has done is camp in the house while 'B' and 'C' stay under the other teams control and not only that, but when I'm on a one man suicide mission to take another flag, I hear something like, "The enemy is taking A"... how the f*ck can that happen if my whole team is supposedly watching over it! So there's me crawling slowly towards the 'C' flag, pissed off, about literally half a second from taking it when the best part of the enemy team comes bursting in from every angle and I get noob tubed or shot to sh*t. I need to take a break

Started using the AC130 today, the only time I've ever really used it before is from Care Package rewards. It's awesome on maps like Scrapyard, usually gets enough kills for a nuke in no time. After finishing off the last 50 kills for the Chopper Gunner challenges I'm probably going to stick with the AC130 to get those challenges finished too.

I've been enjoying a bit of that. The slightly shorter range is a good trade-off for it not wobbling around like crazy.

M21 + ACOG + Stopping Power is f*cking amazing.

 

You deal with range penalties, but if you lean in close to the screen and shoot at anything that moves, you will kill whatever you aim at. The WAZOOOOOO has better chest multiplers, but I like the M21 more.

Am I the only one that thinks that Emergency Airdrop's are the most pesky and useless things ever? Today I got my first one, right in the open I called it in. Only one box stayed in the boundaries in Scrapyard. Granted it was an EMP, I saw an AC 130 on the other side of the fence and I got all sad. Damn Airdrops I tell ya.

Long story short, had a match on wasteland that I went 33-1 on core TDM against a bunch of knob jockeys. They were so bad that I decided to change my killstreaks from Pred, Harrier, Chopper Gunner to Harrier, CG, Nuke. Invasion popped up next. A combination of my team being HORRIBLE, and the other team being even worse made this the easiest nuke i've ever gotten. I went 6-0 and died but then went on a rampage. Got my nuke when the score was 5100-2200 I think and stood around on top of gas station admiring the battle listening to everyone on my team being all "OMFG DO YOU HAVE A NUKE EQUIPPED? OMFG OMFG OMFG". It wasn't even like these were boot camp material players, half my team was on 1st prestige. I hung out for a minute or 2 and let my team mates get some kills since to that point the 5 of them had contributed next to nothing.

 

I tried to get a pic of the Nuke screen but it isn't so easy with a camera phone. Not as slick as a screen shot on a PC. I trust you'll take my word for it. Had 3 friend requests after that match from several people, none of which had a positive KDR.

 

Yes I blacked out my name. Not to sound elitist but I can't change my handle like you can on PC and don't want a bunch of randoms sending PSN messages. I guess if any poor souls were one of the bastards on that scoreboard you can out me, but if i got stomped that bad I wouldn't claim to be one of them...

Comes around a lot on 3rd person teams. I think I`ve been on it twice since I abandoned that mode.

Well I'm getting better. I'm consistently getting 20-30 kills per game now. However, now I can't figure out how you guys stay alive so well. It seems like in every game I'm in I'll go into an area and be surrounded by 3 guys. I can usually take out two of them but the third always gets me. That doesn't happen every time, but anyway, that's beside the point. How do you guys stay alive so well? Seems like every game I get killed around 10-15 times. It's really annoying while trying to get killstreaks.

Anyone got any good strategies for Contingency on Veteran?

 

I romped through the rest of the Campaign so far, yet I've been struggling with this mission for ages.

 

Either I run out of time, or I run towards the Submarine at the last second and take a bullet to the noggin'.

i lol'd at blacking out the psn. Rust is a map I enjoy playing on when in 3rd person, but a 6-a-side TDM or domination on there is a total f*ck fest, you can't do anything without getting blasted lool

I'd love for those CoD4 maps to be released as DLC, I'd definitely pay for them.

 

Imagine Chopper Gunner or an AC-130 on Shipment? It would be havok, though I doubt many people could survive until 11 kills on such a small map, care package maybe.
