What is the point? I know how I die most of the time. Sometimes I watch it for the occasional "HTF did i die?"

Same. Even if I am interested I tend to skip them because as soon as I die I'm automatically bashing X to respawn.

It`s a natural raction with me now to just press X immediately on death. I don`t really go for payback as I pay less attention to what`s going on around me, unless I respawn real close.

 

It`s the same with dying before a killstreak reward drops. Running across the map to get payback or a package is asking for trouble.

 

Only 4 mor killstreak rewards to go for cold blooded pro. The stinger has been the best launcher so far - 0 misses. the Jav has missed two harriers and a chopper gunner.

 

EDIT: Just missed 2 harriers with both shots from a Stinger, WTF?

Yeah I do that too. I'm pretty good at seeing where I got shot from. Though every once in a while I'll have no idea so I'll watch the cam.

Yeah, me too. When I'm in a Private Match, and there's a sick kill, my friend tells me to watch the KillCam, I say okay, but I still skip it xD

I'll be honest, I usually mash the respawn button because 95% of the time I lose to a dude in a firefight. I don't get merc'd by campers from far away very often, but if I do (at least in TDM) I make it a point to go back and kill him. I don't think I've ever been killed more than twice by a guy in a good spot.

 

I was playing Derail domination today and I got sniped by some dude who decided that capturing points is for homos. He was on the train overpass near Charlie, and I spawn back at Alpha. I select my grenade launcher, line up my shot, and kill him from across the map. I wanted to say something in text chat, but before I saw:

Now a days, I have gotten so used to dying in COD that in any game I die I press square in an instant. It's like second nature man, you don't need it unless it's the same f*ck or a sniper.

Just unlocked a "Feature Unlock" something called Arctic Ghillie and it says that I'm camoflauged in snowy environments. What other things like this can you unlock and how do you get them?

By doing the Ghillie In The Mist challenges.

The ghillie unlocks are rewards for completing the 'Ghillies in the Mist' challenges. There are three levels for the challenge that are rewarded with three levels of ghillie unlocks (Arctic, Urban and Desert).

That's just a rumour, there have been a load of them going around. The only official word about the upcoming map packs is that the first is due for Spring 2010.

Word from 402 about the 'hidden' playlists found a while ago and the speculation that they were going to be unlocked as paid DLC;

 

Playlists aren't DLC and not something we've ever charged for. Infact, we've done several playlist updates already since the game has been out which are completely free.

 

I don't know where this assumption that we hide stuff on discs so we can charge for it later comes from. We've never given any indication of that. Anything on the disc you don't find in game means it was cut from the final game but certain files related to it were never deleted. That's it, nothing more exciting than that really.

Remember guys, there's is something to learn from each and every kill cam.

Got my first nuke on wasteland in the off chance that I turn nuke on. Was very happy, used a heartbeat sensor and stayed where 'C' is on Domination (Was on FFa though). Got some exceptionally lucky kills, got a sniper who was near the churchy thing with my scar from near the shed. Ran out of bullets in my Scar quickly, used my p2000, unloaded that. Had to pick up a FAMAS to get my chopper gunner - then a sniper rifle for my last three kills.

 

Getting slightly better, I've become a lot more patient and I'm using the skills I always used on Coutner Strike (Flash every corner, results in a kill about a 3rd of the time). I die a fair bit, so they'd only go to waste anyway. I just throw one at the door frame and then sprint in, or over the top of a building or obstacle.

 

So, not dying as much now. Tend to stay in a twenty metre radius on some maps and keep moving to about three different places in a circle, picking people off.

 

I really hope they release some of the old MW1 maps as free DLC.

I see the helicopters in multiplayer are just as annoying this time round. Nonetheless, this game pretty sick.

I decided to spend the evening denying the enemy of any sort of air support. ACR + silencer, Javelin, Scavenger, Cold Blooded, Ninja Pro on HCTDM.

 

I just sat in a corner and shot down enemy air supports immediately, only killed those I had to for ammo or if they would come after me. Score were like 7-1, 6-2, 8-1 etc etc. Racked up 93 air support destroy for Cold Blooded Pro challenges. Probably averaged 6-7 air support destroys a game.

I prefer Stingers because they get to the target quicker than a Javelin.

I had three nukes yesterday. Two on 'Ground War' (one was TDM, one was DOM) and one on regular Domination.

 

You have to be really lucky in Ground War. You either get f*cked over on a constant basis with barely any kills... or you either start of really good and there is no stopping you. I thank Anuj for the brilliant One Man Army tip. It actually even better than Scavenger to be honest :]. On top of that, you can also choose what primary you get (so you can be versatile in each situation that presents itself!).

 

I miss having a sidearm or a secondary weapon at times...

Taking out air support: Javelin or Stinger? Which ones better for raping air support?

For taking out air support, I'd say the Stinger.

 

The Stinger seems to fire and lock-on quicker. Plus, you get two missiles to fire, instead of one, which is useful if the aircraft deploys flares and causes your first missile to go off in a completely new direction.
