I find Wasteland the easiest map to get a nuke on, air support just destroys if you're against a sh*tty team.

I find Wasteland to be sh*t for calling air support. Aircraft like the Harrier and Cobra are fairly vulnerable on that map seeing as it's really open. It's pretty easy escaping air support by running into the tunnels as well.

 

@Cheat: You can use the 'Bling' perk to use two attachments.

As a CoD4 player I'd like to ask a question:

Can you add multiple attachments to your Create-A-Class weapons?

Say you have a silencer, can you add a ACOG scope also without getting the silencer removed? That's what I hate in CoD4's multiplayer, you can't do that.

Yes you can do that by having bling perk on, at the moment I have fmj and silencer on my ak 47.

I love the damn game! I have never ever played a first person shooter game before, so the Call of Duty thingy is pretty new to me, but I love it! I started playing it 3 weeks after the release, and now I got rank 68 on 1st prestige. So i'm in prestige mode. I really would like to play with other good players, and I have a headset of course. I play daily and consider myself a pretty good player, have only had 5nukes though. Could have had 7 nukes though I had nuke turned off at some certain points. Anybody who'd like to team up with me, send me an add! PSN: Easy-A

Agreed. I've had nukes on Wasteland before but it seems that people tend to try much harder to shoot down air support there because of how open the spawns are. Maps like Afghan and Favela are much better for air support/getting nukes in my opinion because although air support is still capable of destroying the spawns of the enemy team, there is still a pretty decent amount of cover so people don't try and shoot it down as much.

Anybody else agree that Shepherd was the best antagonist in the COD series most of the time the antagonist are generic villains but this guy had a good motive he just went about it wrong way. we get a guy like him if they make a Modern Warfare 3 or maybe he didn't die and Shepherd comes back with a eye patch or something

Oh, you can count on Modern Warfare 3 , absolutely ! Cliffhanger ending much as you know, we didn't get to bring Makarov to justice and we don't know where Soap, Nikolai and Price are headed ?

Anyway, just started playing multiplayer a few hours ago and I'm having a blast, even though I barely played any type of FPS online !

I'm currently at level 11 and all those nice unlockables really motivate you in playing more ! I played some DM and Team DM and some Domination until now (perhaps it's not a biggie, but I managed to get the second biggest score and the Dominator award for most points dominated ); to sum up, this multiplayer is really awesome, very excited to play more, but it's past midnight here and I have to sleep ...

One more question (I apologize if it is a stupid one): Is multiplayer cross-platform i.e. I'm playing on PC and I may be able to play with my friend who has PS3 ? If not, no problem, just asking.

Gotta laugh. Some level 19 retard who I got the game winning kill on by firing 3 shots at his head with my USP, afterwords had the nerve to tell me to learn how to f*cking aim.

 

If you get killed by somebody facing you, and shooting at you with a USP and fail to kill them before they kill you, you need to learn how to aim.

I've been using it recently with a silencer on it and it's just f*cking awesome, i just had a game where i got like 40 something kills with it, it's so beastly, the rate of fire seems to incease slightly with a silencer and the recoil just seems to be none existant with it, i love it.

I've tried it but don't like it. It's rate of fire is pretty nice, but it's aim is sh*t. You shoot at someone and your bullets go 5 feet off to the side. It's recoil is terrible too.

Did you just say it had low recoil? What f*cking world are you living in? I can't fire more than three shots before the crosshairs are somehow aiming behind me, I hate the thing, it looks awesome, but besides that I think it's more or less useless.

I had a lucky night with Care Packages tonight. 1 EMP, 2 AC-130's, 1 Chopper Gunner (I got killed getting it, but one of my teammates got it), 1 Stealth Bomber, 2 Harrier Strikes, and a ton of Counter UAV's, UAV's, and Ammo Resupplies.

I was going for an FFA nuke on Afghan, and got my chopper gunner. I lay down in some weeds to hide from everyone, and some smart cookie went and found me from the green blip on his killcam. Instead of killing me, he stood right on top of me. I was debating whether or not to shoot him, but decided shooting him/myself and winning was better than him killing me and getting free points.

Playing with the guys from SA is literally the funnest thing ever. I found out that on Skidrow Domination, if you cap B/C then you can man the turret in the building and shoot through the wall opposite going into the B building. If you hold down fire the turret will overheat, so you have to fire bursts about as long as it takes to say "die motherf*cker die" through the wall. Since most people playing this game seems to be more than willing to be bullet sponges, they run like stupid from Alpha to the Bravo staircase and just get ANNIHILATED through the wall.

 

I got 30000XP one match from shooting a guy through the wall, then hitting a C4 pack another guy through, which apparently set off a claymore killing someone on the other side. It was f*cking GLORIOUS, and I got How The?, and Dominos from it. I think I got six new emblems and titles just from doing that.

 

Another good one is using an RPD with grip + OMA on Highrise. RPD reloads literally take like 9-10 seconds, whereas OMA will give you a fresh mag in 3 seconds. Go prone on Highrise and aim down the middle and just lay down the f*cking fire. 100 rounds later you can reload in 3 seconds. Funny enough, you can fire for a little more than 8 seconds before you have to reload.

 

Another fun thing if you're trying to get nukes is to have 2 OMA Classes set up:

 

Class 1:

Whatever setup you like, Hardline for Perk 2, OMA for Perk 1.

 

Class 2:

Whatever setup you like, Danger Close Pro for Perk 2 (has to be Pro), OMA for Perk 1.

 

Take out Class 1 to start, and get 6 kills and get your Harriers. OMA to your DC class and lay down the Harriers. If it doesn't get you to 11 then OMA back to Class 1 until you get your Chopper Gunner. OMA to DC class and use the CG. If you don't get 14 kills, switch back to Hardline to get to 24 and get your nuke.

 

It sounds complicated, but it's not that hard in the end and saving one kill to get a nuke is always good.

I use to use the F2000 as well, it's pretty decent. Though it feels a bit like an LMG (its recoil and sound) when you fire it.

If you miss the first shot in a one-on-one shoot out, you're pretty much f*cked.

What exactly is a bullet penetration kill? it`s taking me ages to get these extended mags challenges on my guns.

Funny how alot of people think the AC130 is better yet they can't use it properly (only firing the main gun + not being able to take the 'delay' into account).

If you have the skills of the dude in the video, then yeah I guess the FAMAS is more than effective.

 

The FAMAS' bursts seem more rapid than the M16's at least.

 

@II J0SePh X II: A penetration kill is when your bullet penetrates a surface such as a wall and kills whoever is behind, I think.

It is kinda bullsh*t in the leaderboards, people with 35 or more killstreaks, because that is guarenteed to be due to a nuke.

 

It shouldnt count a nuke as kills really. When people do get legit killstreaks id like to tell the difference.

 

Still aint got a nuke and I never want one. Not unless I could cheat 10, but then I would never use one again.

 

Why waste a killstreak slot for something that ends the game, I mean honestly, I paid to play the game not to end it, I wish it wasnt in the game.

 

I gave up f*cking with the EMP as the first time of ever getting it the 15th kill was the game winning kill, so I said f*ck that sh*t never even bothered using it.

 

No point in that sh*t anyway, if you manage to get a 15 killstreak, why waste it on sh*t that does f*ck all, and if the enemies have like 50 aircraft going, you wouldnt be able to get that killstreak in that time anyway.

 

also does anyone know if killstreak rewards count to killstreaks after you have died? because I dont think they do, and its bullsh*t. always unlocking a harrier then dying and it being worth f*ck all after.

They don't sadly enough which sucks balls. That's something what was great in the first Modern Warfare (also in World at War) but which they removed.

 

And indeed, Lance Henrikson is great in this game. Heck, I only started to recognise him once I actually 'met Shepherd' later on in the game that it was 'Bishop'. He really has a cool voice!

Are you using stoppping power? If you are, that's the reason why its a 2 shot kill. I'm pretty sure WA2000 with COLD BLOODED is a one shot one kill at times.

Don't quote me on this though.

If I'm reading that correctly, are you saying that nukes count towards your killstreak. Lets say I get 25 and 5 people are against me. I call in the nuke, I kill the 5 and my killstreak becomes 30? It doesn't work that way. When you call in the nuke, the people that died from it will not count towards your streak.
