Gah, this matchingmaking thing is doing my f*cking head in.

I hope those twats sort themselves out soon and give us out Dedicated servers back. and what is it, 19 players max? Thats f*cking horrible! Even though I never played 64 player servers on MW1, I still played servers with a max of around 40 people, but I guess ill survive. .

 

also, is there a bandolier perk? i really need one for the SCAR, its an awesome weapon but the ammo goes so fast .

^Use Scavenger, and eventually Scavenger Pro. Scavenger allows you to pick up ammo you find and Scavenger Pro gives you extra ammo from the start, works like a charm on a SCAR.

 

Scratch what I just said btw, P90 is a BEAST.

What's better: Harrier Strike or Attack Helicopter? I'll be picking one of them together with the UAV and Pave Low and I'll be dominating, thank you very much.

Akimbo is synonymous with "dual wield" for those one-handed weapons. Not sure why it is called that.

 

At level 45 right now and not too far from finishing a couple 10000xp challenges.

 

Played with my first blatant cheater/hacker last night. He went 70-2 on Sub Base (Domination) and ended the game with a nuke. His kill cam showed his gun automatically snapping onto any target (ie. he would kill me and then 3 or 4 other teammates in the same kill cam). That right pissed me off although I still went 29-6.

 

And as far as the lag on PS3 goes, I've experienced those problems mentioned too. I'm not sure how it works as far as who gets the kill based on what is on who's screen, etc. But as mentioned there have been many times where I have clearly shot the f*ck out of someone (and usually stop firing and reload because they should be dead), only to get killed by them and seeing in the kill cam that I actually never even fired my weapon.... apparently. So either the killcam is way off or precision in this game really doesn't count for sh*t. Does the tie go to the lagger? Region-specific servers would likely fix this problem.

Either I take Scavenger Pro or Sleight of Hand Pro with the P90. I could take Scavenger but that means a worse aim then with SoH and a slower reload (I kind of miss the fast reload with the P90). I could take SoH and get all the SoH pros but that means I'll run out of ammo WAY too fast.

Akimbo - Dual wield.

 

Harrier vs Attack Heli - Def. Heli.

 

Commando Pro - As stated, no damage when you fall.

 

Rapid Fire - Does not make aim worse, but you get that 'curve' faster.

 

P90 Attachments - Depends. Sights on the P90 are easy, so there's never a reason to use Bling. ACOG sucks on it, Akimbo is good if you use Marathon Pro and Lightweight Pro because you'll be running around all over the god damned place turning everyone into f*cking swiss cheese. Haven't used the Holo sights, but RD sights was good in MW. Red Dot sight is good.

 

Scav. Pro vs. SoH Pro (P90) - Reload time for the P90 is relatively low, so use Scavenger. If you don't you'll be out of bullets in no time.

Does carrying a Stinger or AT4 on your back slow you down? Say you're killing people with your primary and you're not using your secondary, the Stinger, does it make you walk slower?

Went 38-7 in a ground war domination match last night. I was using the M4A1 with an ACOG scope and it was like I was Chuck Norris with an assault rifle. The harrier is awesome!

The Model 1887 is probably the most badass secondary weapon in this game. It's a one hit kill almost all the time and the way the person cocks it in akimbo is amazing.

Whenever I see anything in air that is not ours, I switch to the Overwatch class, die, try to shoot down the enemy aircraft, change back. Or pick up a rocket launcher from a fallen team-mate. Like I did once. Felt good.

 

G18 with Akimbo fires a rain of bullets and it makes my PC lag a bit. Although, it does go up (recoil?) quite a bit.

 

Tried out Search & Destroy now. Quite fun.

 

And had 30-9 in TDM earlier.

Lmfao i know what ya mean, im in a game and theres a harrier hovering over half my team, and everyone just stares at it like they aint seen one before. I never use rockets otherwise id rape it evertime. Anyways, Anuj lemme add ya steam, im able to get on multiplayer for a couple of hours during the day, it uses up a big chunk of credit but its worth it .

 

Gonna go back on Multiplayer in a few mins, nothing else to do so ima play it for a while then watch TV all night. for having an awesome life xD

I just managed to do the Omnicide challenge, which is killing the entire enemy team in 10 seconds. I'm really suprised i got it, but i suppose the Pavelow i got from my care package helped a bit, still though, holy sh*t.

 

I'm also 4 trophies away from a platinum, all i need a re 3 Spec Ops one related to getting stars and the one where you kill 4 enemies in a row while downed, but i'm never down long enough to get it.

If hacks weren't bad enough for the PC, hackers have already released easy rank-up's and automatically go to Prestige 10, Level 70 with everything unlocked including challenges, pro perks and weapons! A week it took for this game to be ass-f*cked

How is everyone doing on Spec Ops? So far I have 51 of the 69 stars, had various partners but it is definitely a mode for more than 1 player. I think there's been only 2 or 3 missions I have managed to do on my own on veteran.

 

In regular MP I have just started using the scavenger perk and love it already. The ACR has a small ammo clip so being able to get more for it is great. Plus the fact I use claymores makes it even better when you get another if you have used your original.

I just got into the Spec Ops with a a buddy. I can't imagine doing it alone, esp on veteran. I've only gotten to Charlie, just messing around. The AC130 and chopper missions are ballin.

 

And yeah the scavenger perk is crucial for the SCAR as well. It is taking forever to get these bullet penetration kills for mastery tho.

f*ck MW2's FASTFILES

 

In COD4 they were glorified packaged libraries. Barely encrypted. While working on my English paper today I set up the stuff to try to start decrypting. Some dude released rips of the gsc files that are the logic behind the game. They didn't include everything though.

 

Every single reference to the challenges and emblems refer to files that are stored somewhere. They're csv files. Simple spreadsheets. AND NOWHERE TO BE f*ckING FOUND. f*ck. They have post-round accolades all defined nice and neat, but whoop-de-f*cking doo because they tell you why you get them in game.

 

On the plus side, I wrote a Photoshop action to remove the alpha layers from the graphics so they're all up now how they appear in game.

 

There are files about air support health, game modes, and all sorts of sh*t that people don't really give a sh*t about. (except it is hardcoded that AC130s only have 1000 health and ONLY two flares)

 

The best thing about all this stupid work is that it spent 10 minutes decrypting a 150mb file and decrypted into f*cking gibberish. GIBBERISH f*ckING HELL IW I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY I GOT A CUTE LITTLE GRAPHIC.

 

About specops: I got like 60 stars right now. I can't even f*cking get past 8 flags on the timed snowmobile race, and I'm too lazy to invite anyone to play the 2 player ones.
