aand yes oldage you can shoot down UAVs, they float around in the sky like normal airsupport, just be careful if your team has one up as well as the enemy, you could shoot down yours by accident

but I don't think you can shoot down your own...I called in an UAV at the same time as the other team and there was only one UAV in the air. I shot it and got 50 points...doubt you get points for shooting yours.

Don't you think that MW2's single player is way easier than CoD4's? I completed it in 10 hours on Veteran, first time playing. I did CoD 4 on Regular, and even that was pretty hard sometimes.

On what difficulty level did you guys complete it?

I was thinking that too. But I did my first playthrough on regular and got my ass kicked pretty bad. Now I'm doing it on veteran and I can't really tell the difference.

 

I think it's just because we've had lots of practise on CoD4, it seems easier because of that.

Why the Hell am I always in 5 versus 3 TDM's? I'm hardly ever in a full 12 versus 12.

 

A few times I've been on my own versus 5 others, it's getting annoying now...

BTW about the UAVs - you don't need stingers for them, it takes about half a clip of any assault rifle to take them down.

 

edit: This may be because I have Stopping Power Pro (extra damage against enemy vehicles) but it still shouldn't take a stinger.

I do. I don't know what it is, but I still prefer CoD4's multiplayer. I don't see myself playing MW2 for like one or two years like I did CoD4.

Most matches I've played have been so uneven its retarded. Given that it only happened yesterday I'll give it a look tonight. I'll be honest I've been doing alright with the M4 and the FAMAS, haven't tried anything else really. Also come to love most maps except maybe 2 or 3. Still I should play more online to get my rank up, I'm only like 11/12.

Easily, one stinger is worth more than than a whole magazine from the RPD.

I miss the maps from cod4 but I like all the new stuff mw2 has, I'll miss it when they say "Placing Claymore" or do they still say that?

 

I love all the killstreak rewards to choose from. Also I'd like the old school free for all back where you could jump high and get on the ruth and stuff. I didn't glitch in ranked games because that's unfair but just messing around in custom was fun to glitch.

So how high does it go? 50? I'm only on 20 at the moment.

 

Which do you find is the best mode to get points/bonuses on? Or does that not matter? I only really play Team Deathmatch.

The highest is 70, i'm around 20 away from it now as i'm a Colonel, and i just unlocked the Javelin, that thing f*cking rules, it locks onto vehicles AND people, so i can use it for both, i've already taken down a Harrier, a Cobra and an AC130 with it .

 

And sorry oldage, i thought you could shoot down your own, turns out you can't.

I noticed that parts of the Invasion map were modeled on the setting of where the Cobra gets shot down in CoD4.

 

I'll try get some comparison pictures.

 

Also, I prefer CoD4's maps to MW2's - With the exception of maybe one or two...

When I get to 70, I will prestige but only once like the last 2 COD's I played.

 

For most of my time playing I've been using the M4G and have gotten over 750 kills with it now, It's good that you don't have to reload in such a long time. Earlier I was playing deathmach and getting much better, I played about 20 games and got missile and then air strike in nearly all of them and had an average of about 10 more kills to deaths.

 

So now I'm rank 37 and have about 1600+ kills 1500+ deaths and it's all going good for me now.

I'm downright terrible in multiplayer. I haven't played Call of Duty in months so it will take time to get my old skill back. At one point I was pretty good. Once I get a grip on the maps and spawn/camp points I will be fine.

I was the same mate. But I have got much better now due to doing the SP on Veteran. Definitely makes a difference with upping your skill level.

Yup and me too, after not playing COD for months but after about 1200 kills and 15 hours of playing later, I finally started getting more kills and just generally getting better at everything.

Heh I'm doing pretty well on MP, much better than I used to be on CoD4. Only map I dont really like too much is Wasteland. Favourites are Skidrow, Sub Base and Terminal.

In all fairness, you'll never be in a full 12v12 because the player limit is 9v9.

Don't know about that. I've hit "Find Match" and gotten placed into the ass end of an ass kicking mid match.

 

My only complaint about this game is that matchmaking always places me in sh*t maps. I liked dedicated servers because I could choose what map I was playing. To put it in perspectiive, I've played 40-50 matches on Quarry (not a bad map) and Skidrow and Karachi, but maybe 5 on Afghan and ZERO on Rust.

Scavenger Pro gives you an extra mag, I think. And I think Scrambler Pro also delays claymore detonation.  Not worth using, in my opinion.

Yeah I just unlocked it. It's worth using with a SCAR, without it you run out of ammo very fast

 

Also I keep getting kills I do not make.. I don't shoot, I don't throw grenades and I don't call in any killstreaks

Oh, I use scavenger for everything. I don't think Scrambler is beneficial is what I meant. I mean, it lets the enemy know there's someone nearby.

 

I only like Wasteland because I do ridiculously good on it for some reason. Has anyone played Terminal way too often? It seems to be the only map that ever pops up..That and estate. Both of them are probably the worst maps in the game, too. I've still never played a public match of Rust. Is it not available on all game modes because it's so small? It's not as small as shipment or anything, and that was even pretty common on Cod4.

Lately I've started using that to see if someone is close or not aswell, so I'll stop using it when I get something better..

So, you get the Makarov info from his safehouse, Shepherd takes it, he burns Ghost and Roach. Soap and Price find out what happened to Ghost and Roach, Soap goes to the battlefield between Makarov's gang and Shepherd's army.

 

So how did Soap and Price find out where Shepherd is, so they can attack him? And is Makarov dead at the end of the story?
