Currency rate conversion never works with games, i wouldn't be suprised if this is touching £120-150.

Seriously. I can't see why people are considering paying almost twice the price of the Hardened Edition just for a gray plastic head and a pair of NVGs. I mean, I go caving occasionally (trust me, it gets super f*cking dark in there) and I still can't see how it's worth it.

I know. I'm a big fan of the series, but it's such a massive waste of money doing that. Sure, goggles might seem cool, but it'll probably be crap, and after using it once or twice, it'll just collect dust somewhere. You can buy two copies of MW2 for that much with some money leftover.

He said in the video that both the Hardened Edition and the Prestige Edition have it. Hell, the Prestige Version is essentially the Hardened Edition along with a head and NVGs, in a fancy box.

 

Besides, CoD1 is coming to the Xbox LIVE arcade. I'd rather pay ten bucks for it than seventy.

If people want to buy the Prestige edition then fair do's to them, people need not worry about other peoples purcahses, that's why there's three sets of the game to buy, you buy which one you can afford.

For those concerned about the quality of the NVGs, Peasant (from IW) made a post about it on their forums:

 

When we were testing them out here at the office it looked a lot like this persons post. I am really surprised at the quality of the goggles we ended up with as they came out awesome! When you pick them up they feel sturdy, just as they should. The straps are high quality and there's even a nice pad on the inside of the battery pack that fits to the back of your head making them comfortable to wear. The manufacturer even let us design a custom sticker for the battery pack. We had a lot of fun with it. Hope you like it if you pick it up.

 

I'm getting a pair! Going to be great for spotting coyotes in my backyard at night when I let my dogs out LOL!!

Bowling declined to reveal the make and model of the night vision goggles coming packaged with the $149 Prestige edition of the game, but did say he's used them with the lights turned out in the Infinity Wards studios and did confirm that night vision goggles are banned in Belgium and France — so maybe no Prestige editions for those countries.

I dont care about the price, if its good enough I dont give a sh*t.

 

The main things are:

 

1: Quality, if it doesnt function just like real NVG's then I would honestly rather it just be a plastic toy.

 

2: I dont want all this useless crap that comes with it, artwork, steelbook? GIVE A F*CK.

 

3: Special editions are pointless because they are no longer special. Any lame c*nt can buy one. Where as store exclusives not everyone can get or know about, and usually come with something either useful or small enough to fit through your door.

 

4: f*ck off if I am going to get up to open the door when it comes.

 

 

Basically, if it came with things I want I dont give a sh*t about the price. But it doesnt seem to be anything of good quality, and the rest of the junk it comes with will just be crap left in my room on the floor.

 

Though I want to wear them around the house and to work, like step brothers style, I cant be f*cked.

 

 

The Bullet Bottle Opener I got with Call of juarez is way cooler than this sh*t.
