I'm not too sure if i want the Prestige Edition anymore, at first i was all "wantwantwant" but i think the novelty has worn off now and it's gonna be very expensive, i'm thinking anyway. I may just go with the Hardened Edition if they bring the special editions to the UK.

I wonder if they'll include more grenade types this time. Even if it's just fragmentation and concussion explosives, it could open up some interesting possibilities. Smoke grenades that do damage, like some kind of nerve gas would be awesome too.

The Prestige edition looks pretty damn good, the NVG look quite smart as well but i wonder what the quality will be like, it could end up being completely sh*tty.

 

I'm a sucker for these kinda things and i'm quite tempted in to getting the Prestige edition.

He only mentioned PC in the video because he was referring to the fact that the original Call of Duty was made for the PC (so the PC Call of Duty for PS3/Xbox360 is what people can download with the redeem codes in the Prestige Edition).

 

I'm the sort of geek-guy that is really into Collectors Editions and goodies. I missed out on the GTA CE because it wasn't for PC (and I'm still thinking of buying one of the CE's and selling the game itself to other people). Yes I know it sounds sad... I just love extra's and goodies especially if they're well done (like this and GTAIV's CE... especially the duffle bag/little locker are awesome).

Well if it is available on PC, I'll probably end up pre-ordering the Prestige Edition. Seems like a good package. Despite that, I guess those Night Vision Googles won't be of much use to me, other than just looking at it and admiring it from a distance.

And those goggles, they actually work pretty well. My 9 year old cousin got a pair like that last Christmas.

wow 150 bucks for the PE of Modern warfare 2 that is friggin ridiculous, anyone who wants to pay that much is crazy IMO, i can understand 89 or 99 like the GTA 4 Collectors edition but 150 WOW!!!! Hardened Edition maybe for me but most likely the Regular game will do it.

My god that looks sexy. It comes out right around my birthday so this would be nice gift. If you think about it, it isn't that bad of a price for: Two games, Special Cover, Head Stand, and Fully working NVG's. That's how I'm probably gonna force the gimmick. I would love to get the Basic, but I am a consumer whore and I love this stuff

I was expecting a pricetag like that considering the fact that you get nightvision goggles with it (and fourzerotwo said they would be actually working ones... so it comes with a price).

 

Still curious if they actually work well. And hopefully it's quality and not 100% plastic made.

 

Now the question is: Will there be a PC Prestige Edition and will it be available all over the globe (Europe too and not only in the US of A)?

A bit too steep for my liking as cool as all the stuff is. I think I will just go for the bog standard version of the game in the end. The original COD is a nice touch but will anyone actually be playing that when they have MW2 ready to go? I doubt it. The other stuff is a bonus, at the end of the day the main game is what we all crave.

I'd get the Prestige/Hardened Edition if the game was in a normal case, I hate special tin boxes, they stick out next to my other games. Hopefully IW will release Call of Duty Classic before MW2, so I get to play it before July next year.

I doubt at 90 quid the nvgs will exactly be crazy good but I think they could be something..Nothing special but what the heck, nvgs are nvgs. Will also be the first collecters/hardened edition of a CoD game I have bought, I always just buy the game itself, but nvgs? f*ck that I want an mp5 and some grenades

To hell with the price tag and the impractibility of the goggles (IMO); I'm gettting the Prestige Edition! It'll be a good present to myself for the end of the year. Plus I get bragging rights .
