The Xoomer gas stations?

 

1. No idea. But there is a Xoomer station in San Fierro, where that Easter egg sign on the Gant Bridge is. It's kind of under it... Yeah I'm stretching it.

2. Their logo on some of the stations is a large rotating "X".

3. There are five-ish stations, according to Grand Theft Wiki (not counting the Doherty garage).

4. It'd be a bad idea to blow up the gas pumps. Bad for business and all.

5. The fire extinguisher can extinguish big smoke, like blowing up the gas pumps, and it usually spawns at gas stations. (?)

6. The Truth tells you to go here in the first mission in San Fierro (Wear Flowers in Your Hair).

7. No idea. Maybe flying into one of the stations would blow up all the pumps. The one in San Fierro is right next to that naval base where you get a wanted level, so it'd be a bad idea to fly over it to get to the station.
