I've tried the frying pan and I f*cking love it. Killing them in one hit is fun! I passed the first mission on expert with just the computer controlling the other people, and I was using the frying pan! Still I died on the second part though. Anyone noticed that 1 hit from a zombie on expert and it takes away about 20HP? Don't know if they do that in the first game but f*ck me its a big hit in this one. in the first one on expert it was 10hp per hit and that was bad enough! Heck, others lagged the crap out of the game. I'm surely going to buy this game... had another few rounds. It's too damn fun... especially with the huge arsenal. Though I really miss the old gang . OysterBarron Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 ok wtf, just got out of that terapin, the one where the alarm sounds and my mate run round the other side of the fence while i stayed back he took the CPU with him. I got licked by a smoker and it appears that the CPU do not have the ability to shoot enemys through chain link fences he was only the other side and its as if the enemy wasnt there resulting in my death. The main reason I didnt like the first game because you often couldnt tell apart individual enemies it was just a swarm. This is a lot better and I may actually buy it. Minic Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 There is a plugin that allows for a console command to switch to the infected side during the campaign mode, you have insta-spawn and you get full control of all the new boss infected, it's freaking awesome. I've gotta say that the SCAR is my favourite assault rifle now, maybe even overall weapon, and i love the Desert Eagle too, it's ace to have as your side arm. Pat Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Call me crazy, but I prefer the normal handgun to the Desert Eagle. I mean, when you're getting swarmed, you need a good fire-rate, not power (though I have to agree with Daz on the AK-47, it delivers both quite efficiently). The Eagle is strong, sure, but you're f*cked if you get swarmed while armed with it. Still, getting long-range kills with it is always fun. (by the way, for anyone who wants to test it, just restart the first level until the back door of the restaurant with the juke-box is blocked. It'll always spawn in your path when that happens.) Deagle is ok, but it takes up too much of the screen I personally prefer the sig&glock. The melee weapons can seriously f*ck the f*ck off. Anything that removes a pistol that has INFINITE AMMO, is the stupidest thing you can do in life let alone a videogame. The closest thing to it in real life is asking if someone wants $1,000,000 or wants their balls cut off. And I would rather cut my balls off than lose my pistol. This game is just designed for pure slaughtering fun and both tools (pistols or melee weapons) do the job. And seriously, slashing up hordes of zombies is way more satisfying than putting them down by shooting at them in my opinion. Especially when you see the guts and limbs flying around like in L4D2.
