Just did a little search, but nothing came up on if whether or not it will come to the Xbox360.

 

In all honesty, I would have the Left 4 Dead games on PC (better community, re-playability), but I just know a lot more people on 360. If it comes out on the PC only, I might have to get the first one on Steam.

The guys are helpful with Tanks (very) but just piss me off when it comes to a Smoker ect.

 

The L4D1 DLC is definitely going to be on both the 360 and PC too - I mean, why not eh?

Well pretty much all of us that post in this topic have both of the L4D games for PC so if you got them you could just add us all on steam.

A comic will fill you in on that. In the L4D1 DLC the players get to decide who dies.

Short campaign, easy achievements and there are some 'funny' dialogues. Though I expected alot more. This was rather... 'thin'.

Come on man, at least it's free for PC.

 

Look at what MW2 fans get; sh*tty £10 map pack with two reused maps that get boring after a day.

 

This DLC is free and cheaper but adds more than the Stimulus Pack sh*t.

Valve know how to support their games and actually care about fans, compared to Activision and R*.

Yeah i was gonna try it out earlier but every game i joined, no matter the mode, the host of the room always seemed to be away, it was freakin annoying.

Just played The Passing and I was just like 'WOAH!'

 

However I'm pretty dissapointed with how they showed dead Bill's body. They just dump the body there! I was expecting to see his body covered up with a blanket and his hat resting on top of his body.

 

I hope the new campaign for the original survivors will be on L4D2 instead of L4D1. That way we get all the new weapons and new infected

I think the reason that the corpse is like that is because Bill was holding off the zombies so that the survivors could escape/get on the bridge(I'm not sure), and he couldn't exactly get the survivors to put a blanket on him while they're running away.

The next L4D1 DLC is for L4D1, not 2

You will never get to officially play as other survivors outside of their game, without mods.

 

Valve also promised to continue support for the original because of fans boycotting the sequel.

hmm, the skies in my game are missing.

I just finished some coursework and decided to root through The Passing's audio files.

 

Whilst I did this, I discovered some interesting stuff in all of the survivor's (old and new) dialogue.

From what I can make out, the survivors are in a snowy mountainous area,

are freezing cold and Ellis wants to throw snowballs.

There is also apparently a military base near by.

 

This is in all 7 survivors dialogue.

 

What is it? Was it an old idea or is it there for a reason?

Or is it completely a misinterpretation

I don't think we need to use spoiler tags now but:

 

The original survivors didn't have time to do anything to Bill's body yet. Bill went down there to raise the bridge, but got killed by a tank. A little bit after the bridge raised the new survivors showed up. So they didn't get a chance to do anything to his body (i.e. give him a proper burial). They had to help the new survivors leave. Afterwards, more than likely, the old survivors will go down there and do just that .. proper burial.

 

Although Valve is releasing a comic book that details exactly what happened, so some of this will be known/cleared up with that.

Yes, it's exactly just that. The Steam forums had some votes for people to ask what they wanted the voice actors to say for some of the custom campaigns and those won.

What kind of crash are you experiencing? You can always defrag the local files and such, that stuff helps alot.
