If those punk kids can do it than Luis can make one since he probably already makes weapons ( Fight club). I don't think that it would be unrealstic. I mean Johnny still had an RPG which in itself is unheard of for a low time criminal

Silenced weapons would be a wonderful addition. But what i really really want, and i mean really, is a 100 round clip for my assault rifles. Simply laying waste to oncoming police cars would be awesome. Put some better body armour into the mix and GTA extends its life drastically.

 

Hell they could make those modifications for the guns very costly in game and i would still rob armoured truck, beat peds, and do anything for money to get that clip.

 

It probably wont happen, but damn, I NEEDS the 100 clip extended magazine...hate reloading.

yes, those are indeed awesome, and I NEEDS the awesomeness in this hopefully awesome addition to an already awesome, game.

 

Matter of fact any weapon modification system would be awesome, and would be a nice addition to the game. Even if said designed system was very costly to perform in the actual game.

 

I dont think it would be to difficult to design some set location (like a high dollar backroom of a club) that one could go to to purchase weapon mods in game, they could be silencers for the m4, smg, or whatever, extended ammo drums, and the list could potentially go on.

 

And like stated before, who the hell cares if the extended ammo drum mod/silencer is like 50, 100, or even 200 grand, i would do anything for those mods

I'm all for environmental weapons. Imagine taking a Grinder to someone's neck. Since Luis is a street fighter, it would be perfectly plausible that he knows how to use the environment to his advantage. Backed against the wall by a built like a brick sh*thouse mobster, I could see him reaching for a bin lid and bashing him over the head in a frenzy.

I want the freaking revolver back! Was my absolutly favorite weapon in Vice City. Yeah, a silenced pistol too...generally I would like to have a few stealthy missions, I liked the one in San Andreas where you steal the song book in Mad Dogs crib. I also want the stealth kill from San Andreas back. So Luis is involved in underground fightclubs and is a bit of a street fighter, then give me more melee weapons! A chainsaw ? Hm would be cool but only if we can chop off limbs and that was nearly disclaimed, not for GTA IV and not for a chainsaw but for shooting off body parts with pistols in Read Dead Redemption. It is in the second part of the interview with Dan Houser about RDR, over on IGN. Dan Houser:"We're reworking the blood at the moment. I don't think we'll be having the shooting off of body parts, but that's just down to technology not a lack of desire…". So, If it won't be in RDR, in terms of shooting of body parts I don't think we will be able to chop off limbs in GTA IV with a chainsaw, although I would really love it

The minigun, and flamethrower are both very improbable. GTA IV makes attempts at realism and nothing is less realistic than an average man wielding a 200 pound minigun with enough recoil to dislocate both shoulders and his face.

 

The flamethrower would also be pretty ridiculous. I'm pretty sure they don't even use flamethrowers in the military anymore, let alone in the streets of New York. And don't forget the 20 pounds of fuel you'd have to carry on your back. Sure, they had flamethrowers in past GTAs, but those didn't really try to be realistic, unlike GTA IV. Plus, except for the flamethrower in GTA III, it was never based on any existing flamethrower in real life. It was just made up to be convenient. I just don't think they would fit into the existing game well at all.

 

The chainsaw is kind of in the same vein, but isn't as ridiculous looking and much more probable.

Everything on that statement is true. It would be fun to use a minigun or flamethrower, but it ruins the realistic view of GTA IV. If you would want something like that, play Saints Row 2.

 

I have no problem with using a silenced pistol, or a colt python. Brass Knuckles are also possible.

Alot of things are missing from the GTA 3 series. My best bet for this DLC is the brass knuckles. I can't see chainsaw ever being made in this game, maybe flamethrower and silence pistol would be added. They will probably add two or three more weapons that is exclusive for this dlc that was never was evem implemented in the GTA 3 series.

The silenced pistol makes the most sense since Luis is a bouncer and might need it to "silence people silently."

 

Actually, I hope we get some stealth missions out of it is this is the case.

The machine pistol in GTA IV is an Mico-Uzi (or variation of), if I'm not mistaken.
