Isuck100%
Seriously, you can't understand the excitement for this car unless you were part of the humongous search for it early this year. That was quite the epic thread. Ah yes, 46 pages of searching for a car that wasn't even in the game. What fabulous memories.

Tsar_Smirnoff
Besides the fact that it only has one set of headlights, it looks pretty similar to a 1969-1971 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass...definitely looks like a GM product though(1968 or 1969 Pontiac GTO could be thrown in the mix as well):

If this car is in the game, its pretty much the only thing I will drive. If a mission gives me a Bullet, I'm gonna say "f*ck you mission!" and go find a Tampa. SovietWarrior42
The front reminds me of an older mustang.
trcmaje
You can see the first pics of it in start of this thread. It is a mix of a 1970 Nova (side profile), 1970 Holden monaro and 1971 Dodge demon (with the hood scoops). @Tsar_Smirnoff: nice but the Sabre_GT and/or Stallion is already built on that car. Nova Holden Demon What do you guys think? Edited September 26, 2009 by trcmaje
Tsar_Smirnoff
Yeah, you guys are right, I forgot about the Stallion(nice car though)...... @trcmaje: I think you're on to something with the 1971 Dodge Demon...of course they always mix two or three different car styles into one car. The front definitely resembles it though. Edited September 26, 2009 by Tsar_Smirnoff
Cilogy
When we first posted that screen of the Tampa in the opening of TLAD, it looked really close to a Mustang. And then there's the other picture of the Tampa that someone on GTAF uses as their avatar (who?), which looks a lot like the Mustang. Its about time GTA has a Mustang in one of the games, I mean its like one of the signature cars of American auto.
AZAZEL
When we first posted that screen of the Tampa in the opening of TLAD, it looked really close to a Mustang. Did it? I don't see much resemblance with a Mustang to be honest. The rear is too long, and the front is quite different. Is common sense now so rare, that we should call it something else? Hell No..
I was told that the Tampa was not in TLAD because of a code error. But all should be good in this one, haha. If it's put in. I disagree. trcmaje posted some pictures of various muscle cars on the previous page, and I find that the headlight section of the Holden HG Monaro GTS is a much better match: Mr. trcmaje also mentioned the Dodge Demon, which appears to have inspired the rear end shape of the Tampa: Is common sense now so rare, that we should call it something else? TGMOS
It's as if Rockstar is waving the Tampa in front of us to make us want TBOGT even more, lol. After all this it better be in there or there's gonna be a lot of mad people.
