Another thing, I don't know if it has been noticed before or not, is that both car pictures that we have seen (one from the Game Guide and another from the in-game screenshot) are both the same colour, and I remember reading that although the paint style (white stripes on the hood) changed during the opening cutscene, the colour never changed. I suspect that while the episode may largely centre around the more glamorous side of LC, Luis himself will probably be comfortable at best. I think the idea is that Niko, Johnny and Luis all have something in common. They're all generally decent blokes trying to carve out a life the only way they know how. TGMOS Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 I really hate to bump, but a friend of mine said he saw the Tampa, driving out of a side-road in the docks area after he failed the mission where you go down there to steal the diamonds in TLAD, he got killed, and took a taxi back over there right away. I've tried to re-create the situation many times, but have had no luck. Perhaps someone else has seen something? He said it quickly drove away and then disappeared in less than 15 seconds. Fake I'm pretty sure that they were found. Either way, it's already been confirmed that it is not in the Lost and Damned (other than the opening cutscene). Fake Finding those files is what confirmed the Tampa's existence in the first place, it even has its own sounds and texture files. I showed my friend the pics again, and he swears it's what he saw. It disappeared like 10 seconds after he saw it, so even if it does appear due to some glitch, you probably wouldn't be able to obtain it. But to just see it....hmm.... It should have a bare bones interior, very basic and perhaps fading paint, fat rear tyres, a roll cage and some nice old school wheels. I'd like the car to be similair to the Sultan RS in that it could only be found in one fixed location. They should take a leaf out of the driver games. Same thing with the Regina and only being in that one mission, meanwhile the Rhapsody seemed to be everywhere. I honestly think it was more of a goof than an intentional "tease" at what's to come in BOGT. That said I'm kinda surprised there's been no patch or anything to make the Tampa and Regina spawn in the game, that wouldn't be to hard to do would it? Considering that the files for the Regina definitely exist, and you guys are saying that they exist for the Tampa as well... I guess it could also be possible for them to appear in the EFLC version of TLAD. As far as appearing in BOGT, I guess it's possible as I think the Hakuchou or Bati 800 was in one of the BOGT screenshots... so maybe there's hope for the Tampa as well. I don't really see it as being Luis' car of choice though... I'm going to say I think the Maserati/Custom Super GT would be a more fitting choice for him.
