Punk-in-Drublic Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 This is definately going to be one that I will be looking forward to more than anything, in TLAD they added stupid, boring mini games like the Hi-Lo game and arm wrestling, and then good ones like Gang wars & Bike thefts. I think/hope BOGT will work in the same way, Im thinking for the small, rather pointless mini games that we might get a bit of black jack, or texas hold 'em, and obviously, the Fight club as one of the big ones. Who also thinks that we will get a car thefts side mission, but for exotic sports cars driven by corrupt politicians and celebrities, resulting in a more heated police reaction? subsonicdust Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 A fight club of some sort would be interesting. The hand-to-hand combat in GTA IV is solid, but severely limited. If they introduce new fighting mechanics for Luis, then I'd like to see them include grapple attacks and throws - maybe even give us the ability to take human shields. You can see members of M.O.B/NHH cheering luis on in the fight club against the fat asian guy. Could mean fightclub will happen in north holland. Or firefly projects. Where ever the hustlas roam. I couldn't wait for this to be confirmed, one of my favorite new features. Niko's story kinda gave up on hand to hand combat so it's nice it'll have new purpose. The fan-favorite modes from Grand Theft Auto IV, made better than ever now with new locations and packed full of new weapons and vehicles. Doesn't say anything about new modes... I'm curious to know how the new combat system works, they said in GT preview that this will be heavily combat based unlike the previous two installments, so expect tweaked combat. On Topic: I think that fight club is almost guaranteed to be in single player only, based on the achievements and multiplayer section of the website. I don't see the point of it in multiplayer honestly, there are going to be so many other things to do besides fighting each other in a cage, in-fact you can pretty much do that anywhere already.
