Considering her previous role i think she will appear in TBOGT. And if you look at the other thread about the new release info the is an artwork from the originally release. I think it's safe to say it is her, same tattoo on the neck, earrings, etc... I think it's a good thing to put under the main topic of this thread. Dillinger8
Just been sifting through the LCPD database, and whilst I won't be able to play this being a PS3 owner, I stumbled across something which may be of interest. Perhaps a very minor bit of the story, or probably not even featured at all, is Gavin "Ambrosia" Finkle, 41, born in Los Santos. Finkle, a transvestite, has been nursing a methamphetamine habit since the mid-'90s. His record reads: 1987 - Prostitution 1989 - Assault 1992 - Prostitution 1993 - Possession Controlled Substance: Methamphetamine 1997 - Prostitution 2005 - Possession Controlled Substance. But what stands out in the 'Notes' section is this: - Banned from Hercules Nightclub for turning tricks in the restroom and dealing methamphetamine. Perhaps we'll see him in a mission at Hercules? Also on his sheet is the name Heathcliff Waterstreet, his roommate in Waterstreet's Purgatory, Algonquin loft. He's another meth addict, and has lost all his teeth and hair from the addiction and now wears dentures and a wig. He may also appear in the game, as on his 'Notes' section is: - Recently banned from Hercules Nightclub for trying to disassemble the speaker system. Sound like a colourful couple! What d'you think? Will they show up in BoGT? if anything i would say a random character I wish they're in the game. It would seriously be the funniest thing ever. At least I think so. I'm pretty sure they will be... and Luis will have to kill at least one of them. I think Tony will be just as much of a gangster as Faustin and Pegorino... If not more so like he's bound to get upset over the least thing and want people "out of his hair" so to speak.
Punk-in-Drublic
Whats the deal with this LCPD database? I always check out random people whilst Im insidea police cruiser, but it shows nothing but a name, location and what they have been charged for/wanted for. Do you need to go into the in-game website to view a fully detailed analysis of the criminals?

Do you need to go into the in-game website to view a fully detailed analysis of the criminals? The short answer to that question is Yes. The slightly longer answer is log onto a computer in game and go to www.libertycitypolice.com and click on either the Lock symbol or the "Database" text at the bottom of the page. Alternatively you could go here for a list of all the people on the database and some information about each person. spektrall
Registered to post some tid bits I found out about BoGT. A friend of mine got to play a mission from this the other day (can't go into specifics, the demo was part of a larger games retailers conference) and here's what he said went down (not sure on the spoiler policy here so I just spoilered the whole thing). In this mission you make your way to the top of a really tall building, and kill a bad guy. Doing so sets off an alarm, and the place becomes an unsurvivable hornet's nest of other bad guys shooting at you. So you jump THROUGH a window, open a freaking PARACHUTE and gently float down to your getaway boat parked at the docks below. Sounds freaking awesome, am I right? I interrogated him for more details, like WHO the mission might involve, but that was really all he could tell me (he's not really that into GTA). I've got no evidence whatsoever to back me up here, and I know some people will think I'm just making this up - I guess those people will just have to wait until the game comes out to be proven wrong. At least it's something to talk about while we wait for a trailer right?
SirPsychoSexy
Wutever Dewd. That mission doesn't sound very GTA IV:ish, more like your dream mission mixed with some of the things you know people want in the new DLC like PARACHUTES... If you infact are right, I will come back on my knees begging you to forgive me. NOT! For now though, ***** you *******!
ScotchMouth
so spektrall what was the name of this conference? EDIT: http://twitter.com/Rockstargames Update: " it's coming - very soon." Edited August 7, 2009 by ScotchMouth
spektrall
Like I said, it was some annual industry do where suppliers and vendors (ie staff at games stores) got to meet and do presentations and give out freebies and sh*t. I don't know, I wasn't there, but very much wish that I was. This same guy also got to play a bit of brutal legend (but from the sounds of it it was the same part of the game as you see on IGN's walkthrough video) and says the new splinter cell is making him consider getting an xbox just for that game (he has a PS3). I speak the truth, trust me. Or don't, whatever.

Enjoii
As much as I would like to see something like that (mainly just the Parachute being added), I'll wait to see it actually happen.
wpstudart
This looks nice, I was wanting to play it, but it's just for the Xbox 360, they aren't making a version to the PS3 version, right? Just like Lost and Damned? Edited August 14, 2009 by wpstudart

Just like Lost and Damned? The contract for the episodes was for two episodes, with the Ballad of Gay Tony being the second, so it's essentially the same as the Lost and Damned. It will not be coming to the PS3 in the foreseeable future. Edited August 17, 2009 by Enjoii

I speak the truth, trust me. Or don't, whatever. A friend of mine is assistant manager in Gamestop and he goes to these kinds of things from time to time. I don't think he ever got to play any unreleased games though unless they were only a couple of weeks from release. So I'm not saying this guy is without a doubt telling the truth but I do think he could be. The parachute thing takes away from the legitimacy though. I spoke to this guy over the weekend and he said that the only people that get to play games before the day of realease are testers and as I'm sure we're all aware they have to sign confidentiality agreements. He also said that they usually use people that they have used before and know are reliable. I got it wrong saying he got to play unreleased games.. He just got to see trailers and play games which were made available to the general public. So in essence it was just a gaming exibition. So with that considered I'm withdrawing my support for this guy. But I'll reserve judgment for now. EDIT: http://www.rockstargames.com/news/ <--- Looks like he was telling the truth!! Cilogy
I didn't want to make a whole new thread for this, but I have a question. I remember when I first played Museum Piece, I tried killing everyone in the building. Apparently when I killed Morrie or whatever his name is (crouching and hiding in a corner of the museum) I failed the mission. I was wondering if maybe this is because Luis steals the diamonds from that guy, or is there some other reason for why he needs to stay alive?
