I really don't know if this is the correct section, sorry if it's the wrong one.

 

Can I mod a 1.0.0 GTA IV?

Are there mods that add new parts of land to GTA IV? (would that be possible someday?)

Someday, yeah... Someday ill have a girlfriend, but dont expect that to happend anytime soon

 

And mods for 1.0? Hard to find i think, most are updated for older versions...

And why is that? The game can be updated both online and offline, so I don't really see why you cannot update your game.

I have all the patches on my PC here, and I've tried installing them. But it just doesn't work.

Only time my game is correctly working is if it's on 1.0.0, then the game and the saves are correct.

But when I update it to any other version, my saves are gone (in-game)

They are in the correct folder, in my Documents, Rockstar Games and Savegames, but the game doesn't recognize them

 

How can I know if I correctly patched my game? Does it say it somewhere in-game or so?

 

Anti-piracy triggers? GTA IV has that? What would that be?

If you had a original DVD version, you just load up the game and Games for Windows Live would say there is a update, and install it for you, simple as that...

I prefer installing them via the download--> install method.

But how can I see in-game (or perhaps out of the game) which version my game is?

Look at the properties of gtaiv.exe.

Are there any mods that do this:

 

- Less fast health vulnerability

I don't want to die that fast by crashing my car/bike

 

- Better braking

 

- Less fast falling out/off a car/bike when I crash
