Yesterday I updated my System with a Phenom II X4 940 powered by a Asus M3N-HT Board (nForce 790). I'm comming from Athlon X2 5600+ with MSI K9N (nForce 570). And yes I have reinstalled my OS so no old drivers are somewhere. Before upgrading GTA runs with bad FPS (10-30) but at all very smooth. And now? Holy sh*t that sucks i have 20-60 FPS but its lagging like sh*t. I have tried every fu... command line parameter but even with ALL SETTINGS LOW its lagging x.X. Maybe there is something i forgot to install? At first here are my system specs: Hardware: - CPU: Phenom II X4 940 - RAM: 8GB Corsair Dominator CL4 800MHz (4x2GB) - Mainboard: Asus M3N-HT (nForce 790a SLI) - GPU: GeForce 8800 GTX - Sound: Creative X-Fi Platinum Software: Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 Visual C++ Redist installed (2005 32Bit, 64Bit, 2008 32Bit, 64Bit) Net Framework 1.1 SP1 + Patches Net Framework 3.5 SP1 + Patches GeForce 185.85 NForce 15.26 X-Fi Driver 2.18.0008 GTA is patched to 1.3 I think the time i have last played with my old system it was 1.2 maybe thats the problem. Becouse H.A.W.X. for example runs way better than before.
