A guy in a Futo drove past me, so I got my desert eagle out and tried firing at him through the window of his car, 'coz I wanted a quick getaway. His car skidded off to the side of the road, so I ran up to the car, thinking the driver was dead. The dude gets out and pulls out an AK-47. I didn't have time to react to this as I was almost dead anyway, and he shot me to the floor. I sat there in astonishment lmao. Any stuff like this happen to/amaze you guys? The other day, bored of waiting for a team deathmatch to start, I went back in to single player and started shooting people on the street from the top of Playboy`s apartment. Of course, I got a wanted level, so I sent a few RPGs down to the cop cars below and then the choppers. By this time cops were appearing on the next apartment building, I jumped over and decided to rampage down the stairs. I got down one flight and loads more cops were coming up, so I switched to hand grenades. With one bar of health left I was just running and dropping grenades before I took my last shot. And you know in the death throes sequence, where it goes black and white and into slo-mo, the cop who shot me noticed my last grenade that was cooking on the floor. He screamed, "I-t`s G-O-N-N-A B-L-OOOOOW" and then belly flopped onto the grenade like a Presidents security officer, to protect his buddies KA-BOOM. xXxTomxXx Posted May 24, 2009 Author Share Posted May 24, 2009 haha thats awesome! also, in the mission, Ivan The Not So Terrible, as he was about to hang from the roof, he was running along the platform, so i got my shotty out and blasted him straight in the back, the way he almost did a sideways front flip and then hung from the roof looked like it was a pre-set animation, because it was so co-ordinated. he did a sideways frontflip, so i was like, whoa that looked awesome! then i walked to the edge not knowing he was still alive, so i felt sorry for him and pulled him up, he went through alot, when he spoke to me afterwards, his back was covered in the most blood ive seen on someones shirt. It's seeing Niko being hauled out of the car by a woman, during a forced stop in a cop chase - as some have-a-go citizens do, which is so amazingly humiliating for the guy. I don't know if it amazed me, but I thought it was hella amusing. I was on the roof and was standing at the door, blasting cops as they came around the corner to climb to the top. Got 'em before they knew what hit 'em. Soon there was a fair pile of cop dead at the foot of the stairs. I wanted blow the pile up with a grenade, but right after I dropped the grenade and before I could switch back to a proper weapon, a cop rounded the corner and shot me dead. As the screen went black and white, the cop didn't move and eventually, the grenade exploded. The explosion sent him up and over, slamming him into the ceiling above the door. I died laughing. sozzoll Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Most crazy thing that has happened to me on GTA 4 was when i was gping from the 1st island to algonquin, i was in a turismo and going very fast, too fast or the traffic to load up, i hit an invisible car, flew out of the windscreen and into the side of a garbage truck Its not over yet, i somehow survived the accident, fell to the ground with little health left, i get up and walk 1 step towards the sidewalk and got ran over by a faggio. One time I felt like cruising around the cities in a Chrysler [AKA PMP 600], and I was driving over one of them bridges that usually have police helicopters flying around them. I was driving pretty fast when out of nowhere the f****cken copter falls infront of me and explodes, flipping my car over. I survived, luckily. I guess the copter just kept on hitting the big tower thing on the bridge or w.e and its rotary blades snapped off. I was stunned at the time 2. I had a 3 star wanted level and I was shooting at the incoming cops while taking cover. I just got there via and alleyway so plenty of pedos were still there. Naturally most of them freaked out and started running away. One of them was running across the rode and got hit by a cop car. He went flying forward and hit one of the poles, and his hand got attached to it, swung him around and flung himself at one of the fleeing peds. It looked sick 3. One time I was just standing on the middle of the walkway, wondering what do do. One of the people who was walking by phone rang, and he answered, Ill tell you what he said [Note that this isnt exactly what he said, but roughly] "Yes, who is it?" "Oh [insert name here, I forgot what he said] its you!!" "umm, listen, I cant talk right now.." And he looks STRAIGHT AT ME with a worried looking expression, then he quickly turns away and whispers "I love you too" into the phone and runs off. Pretty excellent AI if you ask me. Actually he pushed me, so I fell to the ground...Then I hear a cop behind me screaming "Don't make me keep chasing you!". I naturally assumed that he was chasing the guy who ran me over, so I just chilled out. Then suddenly I saw Niko put his hands in the air, and the officer aiming at Niko from the back...And I thought "WTF did I do?" What's weird is that I didn't have any stars... Then suddenly, this random ped that walks in front of us, stops and pulls up a frigging AK47 out of nowhere. He aims at the police officer and manage to shoot him down. And I am like WTF is going on here...then I noticed I got two stars. God knows why... And then I hear more shots. A nearby cop-car stopped and the officers are now shooting at me. So I run like hell and take cover behind a wall, and I see this ped with the AK47 take cover behind a car. And he starts shooting like hell at the officers. Then I see him take up a friggin grenade and throws it at the police car. The grenade goes off, and the police car, the officers, and four other nearby cars explode in a giant explosion. Naturally, all the other peds on the streets are terrified and run like hell. Then I see the ped with the AK47 go out of cover, and start shooting towards the other peds running down the street, while yelling: "You want f*cking trouble holmes? Cuz you got it!" He managed to shoot 3 or 4 other peds to the ground. Then suddenly, a random ped that's running down the street, apparently frightened by all the action, suddenly drops down to the ground, and rolls behind cover behind a nearby car. I think it was a biker guy...anyways, the biker guy starts shooting at the Ak47-guy with a Mac10...and as they are shooting at eachother, several more cop cars arrives. I look at my stars and noticed I now had 4 stars...great, what did I do? So I am almost using up every piece of bullet I have for my Mp5-gun, in order to keep the cops away from me. Then this black SWAT van comes down the street, in breakneck speed, and runs over the ped with the AK47. The guy gets thrown into the air, and amazingly, hits the biker-guy on his mid-air journey. The biker guy lies lifeless on the ground, but amazingly the AK47 guy manages to survive the impact and stands up again. So suddenly he takes up another grenade and throws it right at the Swat van down the street. The van explodes and takes out at least 3 or 4 nearby cop cars. As I am about to flee the scene, a cop shows up just around the corner and starts shooting me. At the time, I had only 1 line of health left, so I died... But I was absolutely stunned... Also you notice how she ALWAYS asks you if your doing something bad or involved with gangsters when you take her out. Even if you ignore the dialogue, you can see that when Michelle is doing he hair she does a kind of twirl looking for somthing, i do the same thing when im looking for stuff on a shelf before realising its behing me on the desk or something. Tony B. Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Hmmm, since we're talking about crazy and amazing things happening in game, I think I have one or two. 1.) Ok, so I decided to start the game over, since with most games I do 2 or 3 playthroughs of it, well with GTA IV I've started it over about 27 times and completed it, lol. I get bored sometimes, and I bet I'd win a whole heap on a GTA 4 trivia show, lol. Anyway, back to the story. Ok, so I was doing the Faustin mission where you have to kill that biker guy, and on my way over there, in Faustin's Turismo, I get to the dead end street that I have to go to, and I stop a little far away from it, so I get out and decide to walk the rest of the way. So, when I get there, I hear a motor, and the sound was getting louder, as if it was getting closer, and out of no where, this Futo XS or whatever it's called, smashes into me, at about 60 mph, and throws me all the way out of the dead end road, across the street, and into the wall, and not only did I hit the wall, the car did too. Amazingly though, I survived, and went on to doing the mission. But while I was walking away, I wondering, for one thing, where the f*ck did the damn car come from, it was a dead end road lol, and 2, how did the driver die? He was dead, for no reason. Maybe the game randomly spawned a speeding car with a dead driver lol. 2.)I was walking around in Alderney, by my safehouse there, and I was on top of the Booth Tunnel, just enjoying the sights, and I see a man answer his phone. This is what he says, "Oh, hey baby, what's up yo'?" "WHAT?!? The test was positive?!?" "AAAAAAAHHH!!!!." *he screams and runs away* I was laughing my ass off at the moment, and then, completely randomly, he runs towards the part of the area on top of the Tunnel that over looks the entrance, and jumps off it, and gets run over by a red Cavalcade, lol. I thought, he finds out he's the father of an unexpected pregnancy, screams his lungs out, then commits suicide, just another day in Liberty City. TonyClifton Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Well I was strolling down the streets of Broker, when suddenly a man runs like hell just past me. Actually he pushed me, so I fell to the ground...Then I hear a cop behind me screaming "Don't make me keep chasing you!". I naturally assumed that he was chasing the guy who ran me over, so I just chilled out. Then suddenly I saw Niko put his hands in the air, and the officer aiming at Niko from the back...And I thought "WTF did I do?" What's weird is that I didn't have any stars... Then suddenly, this random ped that walks in front of us, stops and pulls up a frigging AK47 out of nowhere. He aims at the police officer and manage to shoot him down. And I am like WTF is going on here...then I noticed I got two stars. God knows why... And then I hear more shots. A nearby cop-car stopped and the officers are now shooting at me. So I run like hell and take cover behind a wall, and I see this ped with the AK47 take cover behind a car. And he starts shooting like hell at the officers. Then I see him take up a friggin grenade and throws it at the police car. The grenade goes off, and the police car, the officers, and four other nearby cars explode in a giant explosion. Naturally, all the other peds on the streets are terrified and run like hell. Then I see the ped with the AK47 go out of cover, and start shooting towards the other peds running down the street, while yelling: "You want f*cking trouble holmes? Cuz you got it!" He managed to shoot 3 or 4 other peds to the ground. Then suddenly, a random ped that's running down the street, apparently frightened by all the action, suddenly drops down to the ground, and rolls behind cover behind a nearby car. I think it was a biker guy...anyways, the biker guy starts shooting at the Ak47-guy with a Mac10...and as they are shooting at eachother, several more cop cars arrives. I look at my stars and noticed I now had 4 stars...great, what did I do? So I am almost using up every piece of bullet I have for my Mp5-gun, in order to keep the cops away from me. Then this black SWAT van comes down the street, in breakneck speed, and runs over the ped with the AK47. The guy gets thrown into the air, and amazingly, hits the biker-guy on his mid-air journey. The biker guy lies lifeless on the ground, but amazingly the AK47 guy manages to survive the impact and stands up again. So suddenly he takes up another grenade and throws it right at the Swat van down the street. The van explodes and takes out at least 3 or 4 nearby cop cars. As I am about to flee the scene, a cop shows up just around the corner and starts shooting me. At the time, I had only 1 line of health left, so I died... But I was absolutely stunned... You sure you weren't in Free Mode? Nah man I am NOT kidding. This was in single player, and it was f*cking incredible...This game is simply amazing. Wow, that sounds like a pretty amazing experience. Too bad you died before you could see what would happen to the guy with the AK. As you were in Broker, I might expect this to be in the Hove Beach area, except for that ped saying "You want f*cking trouble holmes?". Was it around the Firefly Projects?
