Very strange error

Hi

 

I´m in the final stage of the last mission (in mourning). When I´m supposed to tap the A-button on my Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, or Space on the keyboard, to climb in to the helicopter, it simply doesn´t work. I´m tapping furiously at high "speed" but all that happens is that I´m getting a change of views before falling in the river.

 

The XBox controller and keyboard have worked flawlessly until this moment. I haven´t done any remapping, game mods or cheats. All patches are installed and Controller software updated. R* support only suggestion have been to reinstall the game, without luck.

 

I´m running XP professional 32 bit and retail PC version of the game

 

Anybody got a clue on how to solve this problem?
