My most hated mission in GTA III is Expresso 2 Go. My other hated missions is all of Kenji's missions except the Kanbu bust out because its kinda challenging a bit another one is the mission to kill salvatore, pay day for ray and half the portland island missions because they are very, very, very boring. GTA III was a very good game its just that its a very slow start.

Probably Expresso-2-Go. That mission has tried my patience for over 3 years. Especially when i had went past the St.Marks stage without one single gun shot and then.......I blew it, I rolled it.....that still haunts me even today.

well i have many of them .

1 ) big n veiny - it sucks , van is useless and extremly out of control and checkpoints get far you move beyond in mission and triads always keep hitting me ! this mission sucks , angry.gif

2 ) grand theft auto - no use of useless cars , just a mission to make game harder

3 ) shima - just a boring drive from staunton island to portland

4) rigged to blow - if you follow the missions of payphone in shoreside vale , a mission is rigged to blow . in 5 minutes , you have to make an inurnus drive from shoreside vale to saint marks in portland because it got some wiring messed in it , and this mission got a detonation bar , if you get colided with any vehicle or something like that , detonation will reach to it's fullest nad car blow . second reason i hate it because you have to get that car back to shoreside vale in all mint condition even if you collided just a little with a vehicle or a wall , it says get it repaired , and dont even show where pay n spray is . it took 24 tries for me to complete when i drive a sloly as i can from portalnd to ssv angry.gif

5 )( well this was a bug in my game but still ) marked man - i got ray to airport before time he also entered the airport but as soon as i exited my vehicle to take another , it said "MISSION FAILED " because as soon as i exited , my health was zero and i got wasted . i was like WHAT THE F*CK

The "chaperone" one with the black stretch?

FOR PC- Personally I hate the Big 'N Veiny mission, for all the reasons mentioned above. Also "Escort Service", mainly because my Cartel mod is a pimped 2003 Dodge Ram that's faster than my '72 Chevelle Securicar. Really, any mission involving driving with a time limit is hard on PC because there is no speed control with a keyboard, just push it down or don't.

I never have a problem with any mission on my PS2 copy, except maybe The Exchange.

Two missions made me want to stab the game repeatedly until it died an agonizingly slow death:

1. Bomb Da Base Act II

2. Final Mission (The Exchange)

It took me 3 days to pass BDB II (on PS2). Just when I thought I killed the last guy, I spotted one too late.

Mission failed, 8-ball died.

Several times, just when I was almost finished, I blew up a gas can when 8-ball was too close.

Mission failed, you killed 8-ball!

And on and on and on.

So after I passed the mission I wanted to show my friend how terrible it was.

I went back to Act II while he looked on, and all the while I was saying, "Ok, watch this! Look how impossible this is."

...And I won in 1 try. suicidal.gif

Try doing Gripped! That's IMPOSSIBLE! The checkpoints are where it's impossible to reach!

That's what I thought at first too. I played that mission about twenty times in a row or so until I got the hang of it. It made me angry as hell but now I can complete it in my first try.

I love them all, but I did have some difficulty with Arms Shortage because I hate the camera view on GTA3 as well as gun aim. I couldn't see where the hell I was shooting without making Claude run around in circles. It took my 5 times but finally I got it.

Ah, that mission also annoyed me immensely on the first few times, before I finally worked out the order in which they came at you. I just made sure I drove a Flatbed/coach to the mission start point, then get in and block the main entrance where the gate/fence is. Lobbing a grenade over the truck usually results in the blowing up of the two Cruisers that pull up, giving you time to deal with the ones coming at you from the side of the building. When there's a big crowd at the main gate, I just blow the Flatbad/Coach up with a grenade, then just deal with the remaining Cartel.

I tried the side-missions once, but I always remember that Patriot Playground annoyed the f*ck out of me, and I don't think I ever actually completed it.

And I find that vigilante missions were quite easy on this game, but annoying on Shoreside Vale due to how confusing the island is. What made the Vigilante missions easier was that there were only a couple of spawn points, so you always got the rough idea of where they were going to spawn next. Paramedic missions were the hardest of the 3 due to how easy it was to tip the Ambulance over.

God damn Ambulance/Vigilante missions. You would be f*cked if you waited too long on Portland because those damn mobsters would blow your sh*t up when you came flying around the hilly roads in St. Marks. So then you would either have the choice to do it on Staunton Island or Shoreside Vale. I picked Staunton Island, and even though it was much better than being shot at with pump-action shotguns, you still had those damn Colombians shooting at you as you sped by the Construction site. That's if you waited too long before doing the missions. Best Route: Complete Ambulance/Vigilante missions after the first few missions. That way, you get it out the way, plus get a lot of good perks that could benefit you later on.

Bait can be a real pain. If you have to exit your car when one of the target cars is nearby, mission failed.

If you aren't careful during the ambush, you can easily get taken out.

The final mission at the dam, I usually try to fly from the mansion to the dam. If you don't hit the trigger point just right, you can wind up in the dam with no cartel spawned. Sounds great, except the only way to finish the mission is to go back towards the entrance, then when they do spawn they mow you down with their M16s.

Espresso2go is actually quite easy. Drive around the city 1st to get all the aqua blips on the map. Once you do that, it won't be as hard to find them while your speeding around time.

The stategy guide I have suggests starting on Portland 1st. I disagree. I started by the airport 1st, then the big island, and Portland last. Instead of running the booths over. I used a rocket launcher.

S.A.M is a pain. Best way to beat that, as already suggested is to blow the plane up while standing on the runway.

Only Vigilante. But even when everybody hates you, it's still possible to complete Paramedic and Vigilante easily. If Portland is too dangerous for you, try Staunton. You won't get much trouble there for Paramedic. Vigilante have to be completed twenty on each island, but it isn't hard because you don't have to complete all twenty kills in one go.
