Lethal Vaccine

The faster you drive, the better, I'd imagine. When they spawn in front of you out of nowhere like pop-in, the game can't get the time to make them aim at you and shoot. They will be dead before they can even have a chance. Sometimes, though, after running a group of them over, more will spawn BEHIND you and cause damage. But yeah, there is very good strategies for the Rampages out there. These used to the WORST part of III for me back when I first began in 2001 and such, but now there is nothing to them, really and I like them a lot for being a challenge. Rockstar went soft for Rampages in VC, LCS, and VCS...

I can tell you what messed me up I ran over two in a row and it somehow slamed my car into a tree putting some damage on my car before I could get going fast again as a result they had a chance two shoot it up a bit. Edited by crashoverride93

Does the paramedic missions qualify? because the ambulance was the most troublesome vehicle to drive in GTAIII, and the paramedic missions require that turd.

Espresso-2-Go, damn that was annoying. I forget how I finally managed to beat it.

Grand Theft Auto, well, for some reason I didn't have to do that mission. I remember trying it several times, before giving up. Then I just kept avoiding it and avoiding it and it eventually disappeared.

It dissapeared when you killed kenji for donald love and you locked your save game out of 100% completion by doing that.

The only other mission I had a good few attempts at was Sayonara Salvatore. I tried sniping him before he got into his car, waiting at his mansion amounst many others. Of course I didnt realise if you chase him he ends up driving off a cliff and basically kills himself for you.

the first time I did this mission I took a coach and blocked salvatores garage then blew his car with grenades but I think now its definitly better to sniper him. PS sorry I removed the name from the quote. Edited by crashoverride93

Storyline-wise: Sayonara Salvatore, because Salvatore is my favorite character, and it is largely Maria's fault Salvatore tried to get rid of Claude.

Gameplay-wise: Bait. I simply see no point in luring the death squads into the trap, as Claude packs enough firepower to wipe them out himself. Add to that the fact that cars can sometimes get stuck somewhere, flip or drown, failing the mission, and the Colombians can sometimes spontaneously exit the vehicle, making the mission impossible to complete.

It is even not the Oriental Gentleman driving! He's sitting on the passenger seat. Check it out some time. DL has found the crappiest chauffeur for the job.

I didn't even know that he wasn't Driving the Van. III never ceases to amaze. :^:

You know, I was gonna complete Grand Theft Auto in 5 seconds, the car's in the garage! MY- CRAP! IT'S TOO SLOW AND I HAVE ONLY 3 SECS OF TIME!!! AAAAARGH!!

Same happened to The Exchange, the helicopter was about to fall down, and just before it hit the water, the timer ran out and Maria and the chopper just.. dissapeared.

Yeah, and if you try to help the Yakuza (since they want the Colombians to know they did it) even if you're so in the block where the Yakuza are, you will fail..

The hardest mission for me was when you betray the mafia and have to kill salvatore. The worst part is that the mafia always push and shove you and most of the time i end up falling off a cliff or losing salvatore

You know the Hidden Package in the glass room, kinda right across the street from Ammunation? Well, I just wait in there and when I see Salvatore and the other Mafia Sentinels drive by this room with glass windows surrounding it where a Hidden Package is located, I pull out the RPG and blow Salvatore up in 1 second. Mission Passed! and 100 Armor, 100 Health still left. I am sure you can get closer to Luigi's Club and the moment he comes out, just use RPG and blow up and everyone else up. I never tried it like that, though. I keep doing it the same way I always pass the Mission and the RPG helps a lot. Of course, you wouldn't have it unless you found one around the Map in a Pickup Location (not sure where you can find one, though) or if you completed the 100 Hidden Packages in the beginning like I do/did. Having the RPG from the beginning makes some of these Missions almost TOO easy...

Alternatively, since normally you don't have access to Rocket Launcher at beginning of the game, you can climb on the roof and snipe him without being seen by mafia.

My least favorite mission in the game is Kingdom Come. I can't image completing the mission while standing in the open, even if you've got 100 health and 100 armor, you will be dead after 3 explosions. The only way I've done it is to go on top of stairs and throw some grenades from there, it works nicely. I will try next time to do the mission while standing in the open, see if I can do it that way.

A Drop in the Ocean

Why? Because the damn FBI, been trying to go to Pay N Spray but suddenly the FBI car appeared to crash my vehicle. Definitely I don't like that mission.

The trick with that mission is to take out one of them early so you have a good vantage point where they can't easily sneak up on you. If I remember right, right after the cutscene ends you can turn around and take out the far van that's near the entrance tunnel by killing the madman as soon as he's in sight. This gives you most of the carpark to work with, and the remaining two aren't so bad to deal with. Just make sure you stay on top of both of them, and work your way towards either van while keeping the other one in check. Eventually you'll be close enough to take out one of the madmen next to the van, and rinse and repeat for the last one. :)

If you use a glitch accessing Islands early you can find a rocket launcher in shore side vale on a rooftop also there is one on a rooftop in Staunton as well but you have to use a car from the shore side liftbridge just right to get to it.

Really those RC missions. They feel very detached from the overall games. Especially in VC and 3. In SA they made sense but we're still terrible. Grand theft Aero and the boat missions.

RC Missions? They're really easy or atleast that's what I always felt. All you need to do is destroy some Gang Cars. I'd say those RC Toyz Missions are more easier compared to the RC Baron in Vice City and San Andreas. As for Boat Missions, the only ones I can remember are last Requests, Paparazzi Purge, Gone Fishing & Grand Theft Auto. It takes a few times to learn but it's relatively easy to collect those packages. You can just go near Asuka's Condo, grab a Yakuza Stinger, head to the New Port Pay' n Spray and then the cops are off your tail.

As for me, Escort Service used to feel tough when I was new to the game. Once you notice the spawning points for Colombians, it's fairly easy to leave the Van behind and clear the road before it arrives to Pike Creek.

And then, there was Bomb Da Base Act II. All you need to do is Snipe the Cartel in the right order, starting from the boat entrance to the engine room. And Sayonara Salvatore. It was tough but some tactics like perseverance will save the Mafia from spotting you and Salvatore will slowly walk by. And then, you can have a clean shot at his head.

I gotta say the off-road missions (Gripped! and Patriot Playground more than A Walk In The Park) and the Boat Missions (Gone Fishing and Paparazzi Purge)
