I have Usual Suspects on DVD in my room and still haven't watched it.

May have to leave this open longer so I can... stupid work.

Die Hard, though... going to take a lot.

Ditto. It's sat in front of me unopened.

You ain't seen Usual Suspects? Get on it!

Had to vote for Die Hard on this one, the best action film ever me thinks. Combines everything you need; guns, macho sweaty guy, gore, explosions, evil bad guy, it has the lot.

John McTiernan is surely the master of action.

Die Hard. Its 40 stories of sheer adventure. I've watched it countless times and it never gets old where as that isn't the case with Usual Suspects for me.

Same here. Die Hard is a timeless classic.

I would have to go with the The Usual Suspects. Die Hard is a great action film. Not two Rambo, which makes it slightly believable, unlike the newest one were he runs all over the city and mows down everyone in sight. Hans Kruger or Gruger not sure which is an great villian, he is cool and calm and plays an evil and ruthless killer well. The Usual suspects is just a masterpiece though. The story is great, and the twist at the end confused me so much but when I put it all together after watching the film for a second time that it was sheer brilliance.

I vote the Usual Suspects.

The Usual Suspects is the kind of film you're supposed to watch countless times and still not get old. And for good reason, I've seen it about 5 times and I still pick up small hints which could have a different outcome on the ending

The Usual Suspects is amazing story telling in action with a truly brilliant plot twist, but I'm just too much of a diehard, uh, Die Hard fan as it is, in my opinion, the best action film ever.

Alright so I just finished watch The Usual Suspects. Die Hard gets my vote. I'm not sure if that's because I kinda had a clue about the surprise ending to The Usual Suspects (it's been parodied so many times I kinda figured what was going to happen without actually knowing for definite) or because I genuinely prefer Die Hard. Probably the latter.

Die Hard had comedy, pure adrenaline-filled action and so many awesome one-liners ("Yippee-kay-aye!" has been my XBL motto for some time. I don't think "Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho." will fit.) It also had Alan Rickman. The man cannot do a bad movie (he even saved that Kevin Costner Robin Hood shizzle). The performances of Willis and Rickman alone make Die Hard great, without all the ancillary characters from the relatively deep and important (Al Powell) to all of Hans' stereotype goons. It's just bloody brilliant.

So yeah Die Hard gets it for me. May have seen the ending coming for TUS which arguably diluted the impact it left on me but Die Hard is just damn fun to watch over and over again.

Die Hard may be the ultimate action film, but The Usual Suspects was a clever mix of mystery and action. I really really enjoyed it, that's why I nominated it.

Unfortunately all my noms are going down this round. Alien lost to a f*cking shark movie. NCFOM will lose to Taxi Driver, not that isn't unfair, I don't see The Usual Suspects winning this.

damn it.

'sif The Usual Suspects is losing.

I know in the end this all comes down to popularity, but TUS was a better film. Taking nothing away from Die Hard, that was a great film too. But TUS was amazing.

Die Hard is pure action, sure, but the end in TUS was enough to take this one. DH is pretty great, but it's one of those films I catch on TV rather than purchase the DVD and watch it over and over and over again..

I'm going to go with The Usual Suspects. It's a masterpiece full of class acting, an odd plot and the daddy of all twists.

I love Die Hard, but I love Usual Suspects more.

Die Hard for me. I watched both pretty recently, so can make a more accurate judgement on both. The Usual Supects was a great watch, but the action masterpiece that is Die Hard eclipses it for me, pure & simple. Great stuff, wouldn't mind seeing either go through in all honesty.

Die Hard edges by The Usual Suspects for me. They're both good movies, but Die Hard is, in my opinion, the perfect action movie.

Die Hard is one heck of an action flick. The movie sets a great pace throughout with constant thrills. It glorifies a new breed of action hero in the barefooted everyman John McClain. Hans Gruber is the memorable villain who entertains.. It's just such a fun movie.

Never been any great Usual Suspects fan. I've found I can become slightly impatient with it on subsequent viewing, especially towards the mid of the film.

I'll stick my vote to Die Hard.

(he even saved that Kevin Costner Robin Hood shizzle).

What? Nobody could have saved that shizzle, not even Rickman

I've tried watching The Usual Suspects on three seperate occasions and failed everytime; just couldn't get in to it.

Die Hard is my favourite action movie ever, with, in my opinion, some of the best written dialogue ever.
