It seems both have a comparable rate of fire but according to this website http://www.gta4.net/weapons/ the Combat Rifle has superior accuracy and range. Can anyone comment on this? Technically speaking, yeah, the M4 does have better range and accuracy. But practically speaking, if you're good enough, you won't notice any difference and you can obtain the same results with both guns. In the end, it just boils down to personal preference. The weapons section on gta4.net says that both of them have the same damage and fire rate. Not sure about the spread and recoil though. The PC version doesn't have the recoil effect I think. I mean look at the MP10 in real life its badass, in the game not so much. that and its not an M4 without the masterkey. I prefer the M4 online, but the AK offline. I just love the AK's model, and the nostalgia that surrounds it. I killed so many people with the AK on Rainbow Six. Oh, well, I would take accuracy over power any day!! and that is why my friend I have dropped my beloved M4 and picked up...my FNC! Oh how I love it so... I remember when they had the old vehicle list (with the drop-down list and pictures, I still wish they had that style with updated stats) that the fastest vehicles in the game went up to 208 mph, but the Infernus had a faster acceleration than all the others except the helicopters. Now instead of the Infernus being classified as the fastest land vehicle it's now classified as the fourth fastest with the Comet being the fastest. Some of it's probably beta info, the rest bullsh*t. and I prefer the AK just because it makes Niko look more terroristy. I have him dressed with camo pants and greenish jacket with the ski mask.
