Ottae
Empire's Cryptic Canvas To continue their 20th Birthday Celebrations, Empire have made a painting containing clues for 50 different films. You have to click on a part of the painting and type what you think it is referring to. For example, obvious one, the Pianist on the roof is obviously for the film "The Pianist". I've got 11 up to now, Good luck!

Andyzoot
Oh...only just noticed a head popping from under that English flag. Now that makes ALOT more sense to me... Those fighting cheerleaders are really getting to me. It seems like it should be obvious but I just can't work it out, I know I'm going to kick myself when I figure it out. Andyzoot
Anybody else think that that guy on a red line was "The Thin Red Line" ? Oh snap! It's Walk The Line Edit 2: Hold on a sec, did I read somewhere that all the films are from the last 20 years? Because I'm kind of confused at the dragon's solution (Enter The Dragon) being included. Or am I just going crazy? Edited May 23, 2009 by Pandazoot

SaintJimmy
SO THAT'S WHAT THE BLENDER THINGY WAS.Wow. I know, I was guttered when I found out Yes...some of these are frustratingly simple. flicko
Anybody else think that that guy on a red line was "The Thin Red Line" ? Oh snap! It's Walk The Line Yeah, I spent a good ten minutes re-typing that text into the box, only to realise it wasn't actually that. (don't read if you don't want it potentially spoiled for you) The thin Red Line is actually there though I'm not going to look at any spoilers until I've got them all - it ruins the entire purpose of the game, and takes out a huge slice of the fun factor. I can't believe how simple some of them have been though (like Iron Man, Crash & Bolt, took me an age to figure 'em out!). Still haven't got the Cheerleader one yet, or the one with the Frankenstein amongst others. Those two are particularly pissing me off, though, and I'm not too sure whether I should be embarrassed or not at not having figured them out yet. flicko
I want to do this without looking at your spoilers. For all we know, we could have exactly the same films. I've also located thirty-three, somehow I doubt it though! [EDIT], thirty-four now, I too have conquered the 'BLENDER THINGY' image. flicko
Couple more found (No peeking makeshyft! ) - -- Scream - Never expected if to be that, since the painting looks a little unclear to me. Ah well, got it now. -- No Country For Old Men - After looking at the sign, I had a strange feeling that the film involved starred Ashton Kutcher!! How wrong I was. And I agree, it is getting really tough now, but I just can't help but feel most remaining films will be so simplistic. Maybe I'm trying to be too technical and need to dumb down a bit. dills
Yay, I just finished, it took a bit longer due to the fact that I couldn't even find the last one I was looking for - Cloverfield.
