sammclean23
Hi, Sure this is the right section, tell me if not. When i drive through booth tunnel, every 5 seconds or so the environment (tunnel) seems to stop moving whilst the car carries on doing so. It isnt asif everything stops it just seems to be out of balance with the speed of the car. This does not happen anywhere else in the game Hope somebody knows what i mean. Rob.Zombie
What? When you enter the tunnel you get an FPS boost, like you're inside a house's interior. The "world" (Liberty City) is somehow not loaded, or only uses lod textures. This is why you think your car goes faster, or something else. If it's something else please describe your problem a bit more precise.

But this isnt a boost, its really difficult to describe but is really annoying. It is as though it is "rocking" in effect. Like a stutter in fps, but the car keeps moving. Sorry it is really hard to describe Arski: it is simliar but it doesnt freeze it seems to slow down then speed up, not changes in fps i know that. Because in other little tunnels there is a fps boost but nothing like booth tunnel

The less objects like vehicles, buildings and people the more FPS you will get because the less your computer has to process.

Yes i understand that This is why i have created a topic becuase it is not simliar to a fps boost due to the less calculations being made at one time. It is simliar to inertia. That describes it best However, i suppose i can live with it thanks for the replies
ikt
Congratulations, you managed to make a black hole in he Booth Tunnel in GTA IV where you travel though time and space. (Record it with Fraps! )
Rob.Zombie
lol now I get it. So the tunnel actually acts like it was moving for a really short amount of time. Hm very strange I hope it'll never occur to me. I love cruising in tunnels, especially when there's a sh*tload of car and I'm with a convertible
