All of his friends have resorted to drugs or something of the sort. Money has been his desire for a while, and he figured that he might as well make it happen. Making connections with big time dealers, he begins his trade in drug dealing, hoping to find a future, in days like these... Outline: Main Protagonists: Michael Myrsine: An ordinary teenage kid who loved to have a good time. Until one day, a man changed his life forever. His friend, Nicholas Scevola, introduced him into the life of a drug dealer, which led him to money. As the story progresses, Mike gains knowledge of the real world, and becomes a much wiser and colder teenager. Used to be carefree, now his problems build up tremendously. Also now extremely cautious. Nicholas Scevola: A big time drug dealer who has been in the game for years. Although he is only two years older then Mikey, he teaches him much of the job that he is in. Goofy and cocky, but when it becomes time to be serious and stern, Nick has no problem adapting to maintain a solid attitude. He has no problems in life, and many connections throughout the high schools of New Jersey. Excellent at the drug trade. Major Characters: Donovan Negash: Michael’s best friend. If it weren’t for him, Mike would have been in jail a long time ago. Primary source of reasoning in Mike’s brain, and offers him advice when he is in a tight spot. Rather then acting crazy and ambitious like his closest companion, he is the calm one of the two. Been Michael’s friend for years, and he intends it to stay that way. He just hopes the best for him. Elena De-Angelo - Michael’s possible love interest. Although they are “only best friends”, the two spend plenty of time together and people mistake them for a long-term couple. She is mainly concerned for her friend’s safety and doesn’t support his lifestyle. Sexy, and loves to have a good time, but can become serious in an instant. Cousin is Palo De-Angelo, another drug dealer that is friend’s with Nicholas Scevola. Michael Delpiano - Another close friend of Michael Myrsine. The quiet type, but is mainly down for anything that his friends suggest. Although judgmental, he is very accepting and fond of all of his companions. Calm, and has all of the patience in the world, which makes him a loveable person to some, and a person to hate to others. School smart, but when it comes to the streets, he doesn’t know more then a box of rocks. Anthony & Dylan Cremone - Two brothers who have no other interests then smoking. While Dylan is tough, and intimidating, Anthony is cocky and all talk. Although they were friends of Michael Myrsine, they slowly drifted from him as he gained his occupation of a drug dealer, and became his part time customers. Very goofy, and don’t know serious from a joke. Sean Alvarado - One of Mike’s friends that has been close to him for years. Remains drug free at the moment, but gets more interested in marijuana through time. Witty and occasionally has wise things to say, but most of the time he likes to joke around. Dillon Benson - Another one of Mike’s friends that is close with him. Mainly he is a “goof-ball”, and doesn’t know when to be serious. Smokes massive amounts of marijuana, and becomes one of Michael’s customers. David Zelbeyn - A pothead. He deals also, but rather smoke his own supply then actually sell it to people. Close to Nicholas, but mutual friends with Michael. Intimidating, and mainly the muscle of Nick’s operations. --- Plan: I will post chapters atleast every 4 to 5 days, and I will have chapters set up to post, pre-written. Rubbing his eyes, Mikey looked over to his companion on the right. Holding out the lit L, Donovan motioned his best friend to take it. He cautiously took it and took a deep breath before putting his lips to the tightly rolled blunt. Pressing against the end, he began to suck in the smoke, and casually inhaled it down his throat. The stream of smoke flowed down his lungs, and he was satisfied with the feeling. He exhaled, and a cloud of smoke blew out of his mouth. Mike passed the L to the next kid on the right, Domingo Dariuesz. The setting was the basement of one Nicholas Scevola, a popular drug dealer who has his knowledge of the streets. Domingo put the L to his lips and began taking his hit, while Michael and Donovan stared at the carpeted ground below them. Eyes bloodshot, it was easy to determine that the two were high. A laugh slipped from Michael’s lips, and all of the eyes in the room focused on him. Across from the trio, there were two other peers. One being Nicholas Scevola, and the other David Zelbeyn. Looking up at the three, Nick began to laugh at the sight of them, as he was fiddling with marijuana in a small bag. “You guys are f*cked up, aren’t you?” Nicholas Scevola questioned his three customers, with a grin upon his face. Mike, Donovan, and Domingo looked at him with a dumbfounded look, each with their mouths agate. They began to laugh, not knowing what to say to their dealer. Nick joined in with the laugh, knowing that he made the trio happy. The carpet seemed to be the main focus in the room for the drug induced three teenagers, a beige colored fuzzy carpet was the only thing they could manage to stare at with satisfaction. Marijuana was making a huge comeback, in this era. 60s and 70s had marijuana, amongst many other psychedelic drugs. The 80s had cocaine, the 90s had the heroin crave, and now the 2000s were bringing back weed. For a teenager, you either smoked, dealt, or both. The main source of money in Woodbridge Township was becoming a drug dealer, and everybody knew that. Most just didn’t have the balls to make big time connections. Or they just couldn’t find it in them to talk to someone who dealt. It was a sticky situation either way you looked at it. A lot of people in this era didn’t know how to go about asking for drugs, and just expected people to come to them. Nothing ever worked that way. If you wanted it, you had to take the risk and ask. Sometimes, dealers would refuse to sell to certain people, due to trust issues. Not everybody understood it, people just assumed it was a drug dealer thing. And mainly, it was. They were always extremely cautious of their customers, friends, and themselves. “Do any of you plan on selling in the future?” David cautiously asked, closing his titanium Voyager phone. Looking around, Mike knew that he wanted to, but was unsure if he should answer or not. “Uh, yeah. I do,” Michael announced, with a crack in his voice. A nervous fidget was present in his fingers. Nick and David glanced at each other with smiles, each of them thinking about the same thing. “You’ve been in high school for a year, what’s been holding you back?” Nick questioned, kicking his feet on the coffee table in front of him. “It’s just...I don’t know where to get big sh*t from, to actually start,” Michael explained, leaning forward and pressing his hands together. Nicholas began to laugh and reminisce of when he was younger, and when he first started dealing marijuana. Chuckling, Nick looked back at the three out of mind teenagers on the couch across from him. Centering his attention towards Michael, he shook his head in disbelief and felt the need to offer assistance. “I got everything you’ll ever need...” Nicholas announced, proposing that Michael begin dealing for him. Although he was high, Mike knew what this meant. A grin was marked upon his face, and it was only a matter of time before he started dealing...
