BAD >:] (AND IF YOU'VE UNLOCKED THE 3RD ISLAND!). (die or get arrested above minimal wanted level) while in jail you can: -make Bail (cost can be set in the ini) -buy weapons -secretly use your phone inside your pocket so the guards wont see -START A RIOT and weaken the cops security (shooting the tower monitors will open the gates and limit want level to 3) -visible security/riot timer -access the roof to try and steal the police maverick -play the Cage Survival for cash and improvised weapons! (you can play not as convict but if you die you will return to prison with no jail!) -try to escape note that the sanches is grenades proof! but you cant pick stuff up... i wanted to make a real mini game feeling, it works like this: you need to survive till the first reinforcement and keep pushing till you have enough protection to collect the 'fruits of your labor' (making sure you have enough time left) *knife costs 1/10 of the bail cost *glock costs 1/5 of the bail cost the ini: AlarmWanted=4 --> how much wanted stars are alarmed by a prison break attempt Wanted4Prison=3 --> minimum wanted level to get to prison (0=always) RemoveWeaponsByDeath=1 --> should weapons be removed when in prison RiotTime=1000 --> cage survival/riot duaration (must wait for time to pass to restart once a riot has started) UniformArrest=1 --> arresting cops will send you to jail if you wear the convict uniform (1=yes/0=no) ConvictsInCage=5 --> only one rule about this one; no more than 60 or game will crash! (put 2 if its too hard, put above 10 if too easy... good luck ^_^) ConvictShootEachother=1 --> should convicts shoot one another while on a riot (1=yes/0=no) Bail=5000 --> how much charged when taking back cloths *TO GET THE ORANGE PRISONER UNIFORM: add/replace the files: lowr_diff_000_b_uni.wtd uppr_diff_014_a_uni.wtd in 'GTAIV\pc\models\cdimages\playerped.rpf' using the latest SparkIV or OpenIV. **change the prisoner's personality to make them tugher or even carry some basic weapons the only problem is making sure Alderney island is unlocked trying to escape with a helicopter on your back (5 stars alarm=default) is very hard, thats why its worth the risk of getting on the tower first have fun! This is great, now when i rob the bank (unsing the Bank Robbery mod) and fail i will get put in prison and try and escape, awesome! How is this possible to add something in the game that it was not supposed to be like inside the prison?? How did you achieve that, very cool, AWESOME!! btw, I guess you pretty good at moding, I don't know if you are familiar with the GTA IV snow mod, it's pretty cool, but the raining turning to snow doesn't look pretty good, it's kind of fake, the rest of the mod is very nice, on;y the snowing part sucks. Can you make that better, just curious?? This Prison break mod works also with snow mod?? Keep up the good work budy, I'm going to try out your mod right now, downloading it..... Found a few bugs btw - You can get bail over and over again the people selling stuff aren't always there but you can still buy the items (haven't seen the glock guy though and haven't bought it either) You can buy more than one knife You can get bail over and over again even if your not in Jail The prison gates are always open (don't think i have other mods interfering i double check on this one) The gates were always opened because of another mod I have trouble using the phone, can we use the phone for anything to help escape? francomg Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 It's not hard at all dude, I just didn't know how to use a asiloader. This is the first mod I use that uses asi extensions, I was not familiar with that. I used many mods in my GTA IVv game, even big ones such as snow mod, but never used asi loader before. I thought asi loader was a program like SparkIV, but it ain't. I found out I just need to copy the file dsound.dll to GTAIV main directory and then place prison.asi file to the same directory, is that correct?? I downloaded asi loader 1.0.2b which says it's compatible with (1.0.3 patch) is this the one you guys use?? I download the mod last night, should I download it again to get the update and replace the prison.asi file or the update was made yesterday?? btw, this mod works fine with gta snow mod??
