New San Fierro Roads-FINAL v2.00(1024X1024)

...HD textures mod...

-roads,streets-textures quality 4x increased

-''railway''-textures quality 12x increased

...other ''stuff'' between 8x and 20x quality increased.....

.........................................

 

what's new-v.2:

 

-road textures are correctly seamless(fixed bugs),

-added new textures for SF north(MeD),

-added detailed metal textures for bridge(s),

-fixed SF freeways,

-detailed grass texture(2048x2048) for a some areas around SF roads etc.

..........................................

bugs:

-almost nothing, except original dff bugs

(railway around Wang Cars, a few places on the roads etc.),

-for dff bugs on the streets-asphalt ''default'' texture is added...

..........................................

-''New SF old cracked roads''-version3.00 for next release.

install and test this beta pack, and see ingame ''effects''(much better than original),

now it's better, but i'd more suggest some little damage at far side of texture, then i would look so much realistic and not plain.

textures(photorealistic with size: 1024x1024 pixels) are not ''cartoonish''....

you can not find anywhere mod like this one, for sure.

example: SRT3 by -BLITZ-, max. size is 512x512....

1024x1024 texture is 4x better than 512x512 Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

well, New SF Roads Mod, 99%-1024x1024 ''pixeled'' photorealistic textures.

 

FINAL pack(49 MB) is uploaded-gtagarage....

Everyone is expecting quality rather than resolution.

I will tile some sh*tt looking texture which is 32x32 to 2048x2048 and it will be best looking texture ever? (just for exampel)

reasons:

as first, HD textures pack isn't for free download

second, a lot...time, editing etc...

and..(min.10GB lol.gif )....f*cking ''dff bugs''-you know what i mean!.

512x512-low quality(medium-dff?)

1024x1024-medium(HD-dff?)

2048x2048-HD

....but....VC Reality Mod-airport area, 2048x2048 grass texture-low quality lol.gif

now is time for GTA IV modelling, for sure notify.gif

answer is this: no quality without quantity(...SA ''engine'')!

They're talking about quality textures, not texture size, for instance, the default SA texture looks better than yours mainly because it has cracks and bumps all over it. Yours is perfect, not a simple scratch on the road.

 

When you see a road that clean, please let me know.

You should try working on addind more detail, Actually, the fact yours is 1024x1024 doesnt make it better than 512x512, actually, the 512x512 couldbe even better if done by a better moder, and it's way better, since it requires less space aka much less lag and it looks good, photorealistic doesnt mean "Texture Overkill" it means "It looks good", but 1024 IS overkill, why would you want those many pixels on a road anyways?

bugs-fixed for next release....and cracks on the road, off course.

Nah, don't worry, you are making it good. Keep using 512x512.

 

But 1024x1024 texture is NOT 4x better than 512x512. It is 4x BIGGER than 512x512.
