Kowaah
now it's better, but i'd more suggest some little damage at far side of texture, then i would look so much realistic and not plain.
[SAK*]KING_OF_SA
looks cartoonish Yes, it looks cartoonish, but SA is cartoonish -_-
Kowaah
set brightness to minimum and you'll see realistic SA.
rap918
textures(photorealistic with size: 1024x1024 pixels) are not ''cartoonish''.... you can not find anywhere mod like this one, for sure. example: SRT3 by -BLITZ-, max. size is 512x512.... 1024x1024 texture is 4x better than 512x512 well, New SF Roads Mod, 99%-1024x1024 ''pixeled'' photorealistic textures. FINAL pack(49 MB) is uploaded-gtagarage.... Edited May 22, 2009 by rap918
BLlTZ
example: SRT3 by -BLITZ-, max. size is 512x512....1024x1024 texture is 4x better than 512x512 At least do you know why only 512x512. Don't be so unmature kid. That's not your buisness why is like that, so stick with this idea to your head.
Kowaah
1024x1024 texture is 4x better than 512x512 Everyone is expecting quality rather than resolution. I will tile some sh*tt looking texture which is 32x32 to 2048x2048 and it will be best looking texture ever? (just for exampel)

SA engine 512x512-low quality(medium-dff?) 1024x1024-medium(HD-dff?) 2048x2048-HD ....but....VC Reality Mod-airport area, 2048x2048 grass texture-low quality now is time for GTA IV modelling, for sure Kowaah Posted on May 22 2009, 18:06 Everyone is expecting quality rather than resolution. I will tile some sh*tt looking texture which is 32x32 to 2048x2048 and it will be best looking texture ever? (just for exampel) answer is this: no quality without quantity(...SA ''engine'')! here is a one small ''exampel'' (add this HighDefinition 2048x2048... and see what is ingame photorealistic texture ): Edited May 22, 2009 by rap918
Gundog
They're talking about quality textures, not texture size, for instance, the default SA texture looks better than yours mainly because it has cracks and bumps all over it. Yours is perfect, not a simple scratch on the road. When you see a road that clean, please let me know. You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself. [SM]CJZera
You should try working on addind more detail, Actually, the fact yours is 1024x1024 doesnt make it better than 512x512, actually, the 512x512 couldbe even better if done by a better moder, and it's way better, since it requires less space aka much less lag and it looks good, photorealistic doesnt mean "Texture Overkill" it means "It looks good", but 1024 IS overkill, why would you want those many pixels on a road anyways?
