JimJim
I know how to change the specs on any vehicle or weapon in the game, but to change their skins you need SparkIV (see below). Check this out too (for example): http://games.softpedia.com/get/Mods-Addons...-Vehicles.shtml To Change Specs on Vehicles and Weapons (I know you got the handling part done but maybe others would like to know.) First get this: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=380102 > Second: Open Windows Explorer before you load the game. Look for the main game folder (Rockstar Games) in your Program Files (x86). Look in Grand Theft Auto IV for Common folder then Data. Right-click the Data folder and choose Properties. Uncheck the box beside Read-Only and click Apply. A box will come up asking if you want this to apply to all subfolders and files--click yes. Close Windows Explorer when it's done. Open Notepad. Using Notepad open the Data folder. Select search in All Files at the bottom. Find the handling.dat file. Very important to copy it to another location as a backup. Do NOT use Word Wrap for this file. >> Roman's Taxi is listed as Roman in the list of vehicles in the handling.dat file. Find Turismo. Use highlight to select the data beside the name for the Turismo (all on one line). Next, press Ctrl+C (copies it). Go to the Roman. Again, highlight the full line beside it, then hit backspace. Then press Ctrl+V (paste). Go to File and select Save. Close Notepad. Run your game. The Roman will now act exactly like a Turismo. >>> To make changes to the weapons, backup the WeaponsInfo file (also in the Data folder), then open it using Notepad. Expirement with the values for the weapons until you get what you like. Note that on Vista you will have to uncheck Read-Only everytime you reboot the machine. A way to avoid this is to install GTAIV to the root drive instead of in Program Files. > > To Change Skins/Textures on Vehicles you need SparkIV: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=384933
