flicko
I know that Vice City is quite small but I still like the idea of having hitchhikers hanging around bad areas at night. Each one would give you a bit of dialogue and about $5 once you reach the destination. They'd all be unique. That sounds absolutely awesome! They'd be as insignificant as completing bus fares, and they'd be as realistic as in-game prostitutes, but I can see this feature fitting right into the game. It would be a nice way to earn a bit of cash and, if the hitch-hiker actually interacted with you, would add something different to the radio stations in the game. Added to that, if you wanted to, you could take the hitch-hiker on a rage-induced rampage, taking him/her hostage and eventually killing them. Great idea dude! Canoxa
If there was one thing I wanted in a new Vice City, it would be less features than current GTAs have - quite closer to the original Floridian paradise.

Most definitely. I wouldn't want to be boggled down with too many insignificant features - originality is the way to go as far as I'm concerned. Something that will rekindle the whole vibe of Vice City & create a feeling of nostalgia.

Typhus
I think that after you buy the print works they should actually start producing a magazine, like Tommy suggested. It would look like a typical business report, but have a feature on Vercetti himself and talk about his life. Basically, he would use the print works to publicise himself as a normal businessman. Plus, you'd learn more about the man and what made him the way he is. It'd be cool if they used the time system to give you a message when the new issue was at your safehouse. How about you would get to do missions for extra money like with taxi ones do it when you want you go to the printworks and you have to go around Vice delivering the magazines and papers that they produce at the printworks to businesses. Slamman
Climbing also added in SA. I feel the various changes almost hamper gameplay on the first 3D versions of GTA. I always refer back to them on the Playstation 2 as well. It's how I'd been playing them for years now. I started a thread about my experience with Vice after so long away. With VC, I have only three games saved on my 60GB HDD. I started over with all the games but my SA game disc is MIA, although I haven't looked every where
MyDog
- I'd add swimming. How come a 35-year-old still can't swim?? - Little more background info on Tommy. - More Sonny Forelli (all explained in earlier posts). - It would be good to know who was Tommy's mysterious employer (phone missions). - I would add more Vercetti Gang in cutscenes. How come Tommy's gang didn't protect him against Sonny Forelli's goons? - More stuff to spend money on. - Being able to recruit Umberto Robina and Big Mitch Baker to follow you. They are Tommy's friends, after all. - More rooms (or at least closed doors) in Tommy's mansion. The only rooms in the mansion are Tommy's office and the room with bar and TV (where Diaz shoots his VCR). - More Mercedes Cortez. It's obvious that she is Tommy's romantic interest (and vice versa) so it would be good if we see these two in romantic relationship. She appeared in three-four missions only. SanAndreasManiac
- swimming, obviously - a whole new map, 2 times bigger - more cars - more airplanes - more interativity - more ways of spending money - customizations (cars/bikes/clothes/safehouses/tommy) - being able to take a taxi - tv in the safehouses - being able to hire vercetti gang (man, that would make a goooood mission mod!!)
