Can't even count how many times I tried and failed the flying school. Also Freefall, I didn't think it was possible to complete that mission I hated it! Lollercoaster Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 I'd say IV was (and still is) the hardest for me. VC was easiest. SA was also easy, but not as easy as VC. Anyways, in both SA and VC you could kill pedestrians easily. In IV it's quite hard...I've been knocked out many times by random pedastrians who seem to be exeptionally good fighters. NinjaWJ Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Ive only played 3 GTAs (VC, Sa and IV) but ill have to say: Vice City being the hardest maybe because i was young at the time (10-11-12). The mission where you had to race Hilary was so damn tough and the last boating mission for Diaz (i think it was called Supply and Demand?). I couldn't complete Phnom Pehn '86 that easily my first playthroughs because i didn't shoot so well and the helicopter and such little health. But in the end i found VC a very enjoyable game SA had its tough moments but i wasnt as frustrated as i was during VC. The Zero mission where you had to destroy the trucks (in which i have yet to beat), Flying School was fun but hard, there were some others but i forgot GTAIV is a breeze if you know how to use cover right Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vinnygorgeous Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Vice City without a shred of doubt, IV had the toughest last mission, Zero's in SA were hard and I had to get someone else to do them, I also struggled on the flight school but Vice City had the greatest number of impossible (for me) missions, the number of times I shouted, "Get in the f*ckin' car, you c*nt!” at Lance. CryptReaperDorian Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 GTA III is the hardest for me as while shotguns are pretty useless for you (they can barely shoot the width of a road), but when some gangster or mafioso had one they run up to blow up your vehicle with like two shots (the vehicles were weak to start with). Sometimes the assholes with shotguns would also pull you out of your car making you even more defenseless. The last mission I've done on GTA III before I putted it down (I still plan on finishing it) was the one you have to go to the carpark in Staunton Island and kill that one guy inside of a Colombian Cartel truck. GTA VC isn't that hard, but I'm stuck on that one assassination mission at the airport (those drive-by guys are a real pain in the ass). For me, GTA LCS and GTA IV are the easiest. molotovgrenade Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 I played: GTA 2 GTA 3 GTA VICE CITY GTA SAN ANDREAS GTA 4 Very Hard - GTA 2 If you played this game a lot, you know what I mean, some VERY hard missions like "Tanks a lot", "Super Grass rescue", "Army base alert" and such. Also the whole gang respect business, some very easy missions could become very hard if you don't have enough respect. Only 5 lives, tokens are very hard to reach. And also the army, tanks in the streets shooting at you, soldiers with machine guns. Hard - GTA SAND ANDREAS I didn't beat this game so I don't know the farther missions, but the first missions were really hard and also the improvement system makes this game hard. Normal - GTA 3, GTA VICE CITY Those two were almost the same, the characters could do the same stuff, the missions weren't exactly hard because of the sniper rifle, hard missions in GTA 3 were "Farewell Chunky Lee Chong" and the army mission (don't remember name) also the final mission. For Vice City "Cop Land" was a hard mission. Also for those two games cars were a problem, because they took damage like crazy and went on fire very early, plus when a car was upside down, the fire was set automatically and it exploded very early too. Quite Easy - GTA 4 Covering system really helps, blind fire is also nice. The missions aren't exactly that hard mainly because of covering. Also the police circle was introduced and that was a very easy way to escape from the cops, because theoretically you could lose even a 6 star wanted level. Your car easily catches fire and you can't swim. and Vice city cops are suicidal, they did not give a flying f*ck. Hard as shiznit: GTA2, such that I still haven't finished it. Easy enough (except for): VC, piloting the RC plane for Auntie Poulet was a massive frustration provider, but, aside from repeated a few of the gunfight missions to get thru, I don't recall VC was that hard. SA, that damn freefall and piloting missions were a major pain in the rectum, as was "Wrong Side of the Tracks" which I still can only do by jumping ON the train. But, otherwise, pretty easy stuff. III, can't recall what I struggled with in this game. Some missions took a few goes, sure... IV, so easy some missions tell you how to scratch yur nutz. The last mission on VC is a bitch..the hardest probably GTA3..I can't remember at all the missions on it..I just remmber it taking me a while to finish it. I don't think the Hoods really were after you either. Specially since your hideout is in the middle of their turf. But after all, they weren't a storyline gang. Osric Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Forgot about the Hoods, but they didn't play in the story. The only gangs that did were the Leones, Triads, Cartel, Yardies, and Yakuza. And all of them ended of up hating you except the Yakuza. As much as I like the Leones and the Mafia, I hated them in III, with their shotguns and Uzis.
