Mark
WAW[...] -No grenade spam Gotta say I don't agree with this. I don't know if you played it on Veteran or not, but there were ridiculous amounts of 'nade spam, far more than Modern Warfare. Especially on that bastard f*cking mission 'Heart of the Reich'. I bloody hated that mission with a passion. It should of given you a checkpoint when you reached that little building thing in the middle . f*cking here here. Playing it on co-op with an inept step brother made it twice as f*cking annoying! Getting through in one piece on your own is hard enough, but it's nigh on impossible when I'm back tracking every 2 minutes to revive!
bobgtafan
Treyarch suck Agreed it's time for them to think of somewhere besides f*cking World War 2. How about the Korean War, Vietnam, Iraq, Afganistan, Gulf War, a future war? Or what if we played as Nazi's? ( LOL right they don't have the balls). Or as Afganistanies against the Soviets? I mean thier are so many ideas and they keep doing the same old sh*t. I think the most potential is in Vietnam really.
Reconite
I agree that the Treyarch CoDs are nowhere near as good as the Infinity Ward ones, but you guys gotta stop blaming them. It's Activision's fault that Treyarch are making CoDs with Infinity Ward. Some deal to release a CoD every year, Treyarch does one year, Infinity Ward does the next, and so on. Activision hired Treyarch to make the other CoDs so Infinity Ward wouldn't be overworked with it. Personally I wish Infinity Ward could somehow break away from Activision - with the rights to CoD, as Activision owns Infinity Ward and the CoD franchise. Menaced
I hope it's not WW2 again. Here's hoping for a middle eastern setting such as Iraq or Afghanistan. Heh, maybe even the Falklands, although I doubt it very much. Anything but WW2 or something futuristic.

Bartleby
In a week Call of Duty 8 will be confirmed at this rate.... As long as they continue to be the cash cow for Infinity Ward and Treyarch, the sequels will never stop. I personally prefer IW's installments. In my opinion, all Treyarch have been churning out are sh*t.

LCstuntman
Jesus Christ, the CoD franchise is turning into the biggest cash-in since Disney 'music'. $10 DLC that should have been included in the game in the first place? CoD 7 announced before the release of CoD 6? Damn.
BigAmericanTitties
Compared to IW, what Treyarch puts out sucks. but its not like their games are complete sh*t. I played 3 at a friends house, it was decent, but just didnt like it. I was at another's a week later and we played 2 for like 2 hours. i borrowed WaW from the latter friend, and it was pretty good. Oh and could people stop being pissed at Treyarch for making CoD 5 in WWII. the game was halfway through development when IW announced CoD 4 was modern. and finally, i doubt they'll go back to WWII. the campaigns in WaW were set during the end of the war, and the campaign felt like the story had been told. personally, a good Vietnam or Desert Storm game would be awesome. WhatsPoppin
We cant go back to WW2 we planted the flag at the Reichstag in WAW unless they make a game were we drop the nuke on Japan thats about as far in the war you can go its time for the jungles of nam

Treyarch's game are not exactly sh*t, but they do feel like cheaper imitations of the games IW puts out for the franchise. Personally, I prefer the WW2 era to the Modern one, but I really hope they move on. The idea of a WW2 era FPS has been done to death, by so many franchises. It was original with the first Medal of Honor (which was what, ten years ago?), and I felt the first two CoDs were a refreshing take on it. But short of playing the German side (which is probably an inevitability anyway) there's not much new ground to cover.
The-King
I have to admit, I loved CoD3's campaign, but WaW's campaign was unplayable to me, it got old before I even finished it, which I never did to be honest. Treyarch needs to come up with their own idea else I have a feeling CoD7 will be another worthless flop, f*ck, they should try out something futuristic, would be better than f*cking WWII at least. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|
Enjoii
Apparently Activison have set up a third team for the Call of Duty games. They won't be working on this game, but rumours are that they could be assigned to the MMO side of CoD that Activision wanted to explore; http://kotaku.com/5407646/report-activisio...ll-of-duty-team

Ronnyboy
What about the Korean war? I mean, that was a major battle after WWII. I guess maybe it's not that well known, but it still could be a good game.

saintdave
I do have faith in trey arch to make a good COD should they decide to make it set in modern or future times. If you have played quantum of solace this is evident enough, the game has great weapons and gadgets, good cover system and a good single player campaign. If they used this template/game engine for COD7 I’d be very pleased.

I'm like the complete opposite let treyarch make WWII games and IW modern games, that way there's be one of both. what I like is that WaW was based off real stuff and MW & MW2 were just made up. (not saying the campaigns weren't epic, not at all)
Tobias Fünke
I probably killed more Germans in games than the entire Red Army did. Needless to say, I'm tired of that sh*t. WWII has been dragged through the mud, castrated, and beaten to death only to be resurrected just so the same thing could happen. If Trey Arch makes another WWII game I will not buy it.
