macorules94
The fact that Treyarch made COD5 really sh*t, I don't think I need COD7. Only COD4 and
mr_bungle
Next month COD8 will be announced. I still haven't played CoD5 yet, I'm looking forward to CoD6 though.
FullMetal
Shamefully they are really milking it out. On the other hand: Infinity Ward started a new franchise (Modern Warfare... let's say a Call of Duty spinoff) and Treyarch seems to continue the Call of Duty franchise (well, that's what people think). I actually think they are going to quit making Call of Duty titles (well, games with Call of Duty in the game title) and continue with 'spinoffs' (since Modern Warfare was so popular amongs kids, ehm console gamers, no mainstream GAMERS... they just continue that formula. For me the series have been going downhill... gameplaywise. I haven't had any high hopes for a Call of Duty game since Call of Duty 2 (which was a big letdown for me). They just keep on dumbing the franchise down... making it more accesable for the previously mentioned crowd (not that it's bad that more people play games... but it's importent that the GAMEPLAY should stay the same. Not dumbing the game down). It's like more people should join the military... so let's dumb down the qualifications. anus
Infinity Ward COD>Treyarch COD BY FAR for me. I'm only looking forward for Infinity Ward CODs. MW2 should be awesome .
asimov
Treyarch suck, all future development of the series should be left to IF. I bought WaW and was supremely dissapointed, I won't be buying CoD7 that's for sure.
Pat
For the love of God Treyarch, stop relying on Infinity Ward to do half the work for you and make your own f*cking game.
Tommy-Vercetti19
In all honestly, I loved the last mission of WaW. But i hated the rest. They basically let IW do all the work and all the little hypnotized kids went in their swarms to buy it. it's funny how people say there milking Guitar Hero but CoD is fine? SIKKS66
Never really got into WaW. CoD4 was bloody amazing though.
Enjoii
I agree with the majority on this mater. I loved Modern Warfare because of how new it was, whereas WaW just felt like I was playing the same game, especially because the used the same game engine it essentially just felt like a re-skin of MW. Hopefully Treyarch will be able to do better this time around.
Fnorg
In all honestly, I loved the last mission of WaW. But i hated the rest. It was vice versa for me, the last mission blew. Come on, CoD7 already? Some people like the yearly updates, but this is f*cking ridiculous.
Zump
It's funny how they haven't even made CoD5 yet and people are calling this CoD7...

It seems as if they are in a hurry cause it's only been a few months since WaW came out and soon, MW2 is gonna be released.
james227uk
It's funny how they haven't even made CoD5 yet and people are calling this CoD7... Lol no one cares. It's nickname is CoD 5, because it came out after CoD
DemonKing
Why they even announced it before COD6 is out, is beyond me, they must've been really wetting their panties.
Chunk
Why they even announced it before COD6 is out, is beyond me, they must've been really wetting their panties. Exactly what I was thinking. I liked WaW, nowhere near as much as Modern Warfare, but still.
Enjoii
It wasn't actually officially announced as such; has inadvertently confirmed the existence of Call of Duty
DemonKing
It wasn't actually officially announced as such; has inadvertently confirmed the existence of Call of Duty 7 Yeah, that's just a fancy way of saying it's been announced.

How can an inadvertent announcement be official? Unless it was deliberate, of course.

DC93
Won't be buying unless they go to Vietnam for this one.
Zump
Won't be buying unless they go to Vietnam for this one. Why would they? America lost the war, who would want to play a game where you lose?
Mark
Won't be buying unless they go to Vietnam for this one. Why would they? America lost the war, who would want to play a game where you lose? Meh, I really liked BF:Vietnam....and I like playing as Axis in WWII games. Losing doesn't make it a lame game, likewise how winning doesn't make it a good game. The more obscure war theatres we see the better. I'd love to see one on the Falklands or Korean wars...but that won't happen .
Tobias Fünke
WAW felt like a sh*tty WW2 mod for MW. Why would they? America lost the war, who would want to play a game where you lose? Just because we would lose doesn't mean it sucks.
Omnia sunt Communia
Won't be buying unless they go to Vietnam for this one. I agree. It's about time Vietnam got the CoD treatment. I think it would go down a treat. It would be a good mix of CoD 4 and CoD 5; taking the best bits from both games and making one that is brilliant overall. I'd buy it. But if I have to sit through another WWII shoot 'em up I think I'm going to scream! Seriously! Every single battle has been covered. There's no untouched corner of the battlefield as far as WWII goes. What's next? Call of Duty 7: Home Guard? Yuck.
Alick
I'll probably buy MF2, not sure yet, but COD:7 already? Please, they've all sucked since 2. Hell COD:MF wasn't even that great, yet the entire world played it as if it were essential for them to live and socialise. Going out was hell, everyone's conversations were about last nights COD Team Death Match. Either this goes to Vietnam, which I'll play, or they'll just fail again in my books. Either that or end the series already, it's dragged on far to long now.

oldage
beh, I'm generally pretty interested in WWII, so I don't have any problems if it's still WWII. but hell, all I want now is a zombie mode...I got addicted to WaW.... and I so enjoyed raping japanese with my bayonet
Fnorg
Won't be buying unless they go to Vietnam for this one. Why would they? America lost the war, who would want to play a game where you lose? Operation Market-Garden was lost, but still a great game came out of that; BiA:HH. Now, the thing about 'Nam is that isn't just killing NVA in the jungles. You've got kids running around with bombs strapped to them in the middle of a crowd, women that are part of the VC, torture of soldiers and civilians alike. If they were to make it realistic, it wouldn't be enjoyable (at least not for their target group, e.g. 12-yearolds). If they were to make it a dumbed-down shooter (read: Call of Duty), it wouldn't be enjoyable either. It's simpler when you're shooting the evil Nazis who want to bring doom upon the world.
