Girish
I'd suggest getting rid of the no-cd crack and playing with the original disc in the drive. Also, try turning down your display settings.
stef_92
Turn off the frame limiter and turn on the frame sync. That should work

stef_92
yes, there are other ideas: try - frame limiter on and frame sync on if it doesn't work too turn the sync off but keep the limiter on and DON'T remember to turn off the trails effect!

stef_92
you MUST turn the trails OFF! They look ugly and load your video card more.
hetment
oh ok. i will do it stef and tell you what outcome comes well stef lagging was reduced very little and still laggs but reduced lagging. i don't understand why gta 3 laggs when games like vice city, san andreas runs smoothly. in gta 3 when shooting a weapon some laggs happen. very quick lagg and normal fps is - 20 or 15. . so yet any idea for more reducing of laggs? radioman
oh ok. i will do it stef and tell you what outcome comes well stef lagging was reduced very little and still laggs but reduced lagging. i don't understand why gta 3 laggs when games like vice city, san andreas runs smoothly. in gta 3 when shooting a weapon some laggs happen. very quick lagg and normal fps is - 20 or 15. . so yet any idea for more reducing of laggs? This kind of explains it a little here. It is more than likely because III was the first 3-D GTA to come out for PC, and it was a straight port of the PS2 version-with little changes here and there. It was also developed for much lower end PC's(by today's specs anyway). It was designed for DX 8, and all computers today come with either DX 9.0c or DX 10-depending on if you have XP or Vista-Vista comes with DX 10, and XP comes with DX 9.0c. Rockstar used the same engine for VC, but made changes to it so it would run better. and SA uses a different game engine, so that should explain it a little bit. The link I provided pretty much explains the differences between the III and VC engines. Hope this helps.
