jesse05 Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I downloaded the game got past the registration and activation and now when i click play it goes to a black screen a spinning dics apears and the blakc screen looks like an old comp screen with a blinking thing in the corner then the error appars and thats it it goes off when i click ok i have windows vista home edition intel pentium D processor 915 dual core 64bit proccessor with intel tech 2.8ghz,800mhz someone please get back to me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CharmingCharlie Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 I am not sure what you mean by "downloaded" however you are not going to get GTA 4 working on your PC. This game requires a Pixel Shader 3.0 compatible graphics card. The fact you are getting this error says your graphics card is Pixel Shader 2.0 at best. Your other specs are not promising either, the only way you will get to play GTA 4 is by upgrading your hardware.
