El Zilcho
New York Bomb Alert as explosives are found in Van. A busy New York street was evacuated at 9:00AM this morning when a suspected bomb was discovered in a van, belonging to Ted's Supplies. The van was discovered park up by the road, and after a few minutes an anonymous phone call reached police, who where told a bomb was in the van. After they responded, they discovered just that, approximately 12,000 Kilos of high explosive in the back of the large vehicle, that had been parked up next to the roadside. As threatening as it appeared, no other information has been released as of yet, apparently due to national security reasons. A myriad of ridiculous theories have appeared, the most prominent the belief that several homeless people were seen driving the truck the night before, and that the bomb scare had been brought on by disgruntled workers at the freight company that owned the truck. EL ZILCHO'S 2,000 MILESTONE: AGAIN, FOR THE LULZ! My time on GTAforums has been great, and I'm glad to say that I've stuck around because GTAForums really has the best community. Sentimental drivel, I know, but this place is fantastic. Huge, yet with a local feel. My time here has been smashing, and it's been the number one website that's drawn me back again and again. I was around in May 08, where the only place I would go near was IVrums. As the spamming, idiotic noob I was, I decided that the IVrums sucked and left for a hiatus. When I returned in October, I was more refined and snooped around the rest of the forums, joining Algonquin Assassins and started posting around. Eventually I decided to embrace my writing skills, and bettering myself to try and become a better poster, I started a little writing in WD about the same time I did my 1k. After some more time wasting on the forums, where I joined BUYG and started posting loads of stories, and recently became a moderator there (have to be more active!) And just now, after various forum high jinks, and just after one year, I have finally reached 2,000 posts. You needn't worry, I won't be posting another milestone until 5k, so you won't have to worry! To wrap it up, here is my XXL respect list: greebo-man - Legendary OdDsOcK - Founder of AA and a general good guy, friendly on the forums and one of the first people I have know on these forums, even when I was a noob. Infinite Monkey - His work in AA is the height of proffesionalism. girishb - Funny guy, if not a little sex obsessed. Who isn't? Tyla - Helped with my vehicle guide. Ja750 - Made me an amazing banner. saintdave - Brilliant guy and really knowledgable. Enjoii - Bloody good guy. Friendly and works like a dog in the GTA IV and CTW sections. Should be a mod! Proxy_Flooder - The feeling is mutual, another good guy and friendly too. Ottae - I think I just respect this guy! He's one of the best mods here and just a solid forum poster, keeps his head. Waddy - Gave me my first and only warning, and set me straight onto the path of light from there on. What else can I say! Machida - Really funny guy. Lovin' the beard. Mainland Marauder - Pretty solid forum poster, and I have to say I am in agreement with some of his posts. Good mod too. VinnyGouveia - A pretty good guy who is friendly and respectful on forums. He invited me to the Yardies and even though I had to turn it down, he has my thanks none the less. Eminence - His marking skills and devotion to it all in WD are excellent. The Unvirginiser - His writing is brilliant, especially San Andreas Stories. Seriously, if you haven't already read it, go down to WD and do it now! Best fan fic/GTA script EVAH! Ryuclan - Fellow T.C.Der and a good forum poster. Basically, not a prick. CharmingCharlie - A Nice guy, great mod and he gave me the kindest reminder ever! Great work, deserves being a mod! Quick Stop -chris- A funny, frank member. anuj - Funny guy, good mod and made my amazing criminal rotator sig! Jacky Fiend - A great poster, friendly and a solid forum goer. Great at rating BUYG too! Nice work. Seddo - Solid poster. Wightboy M|chael - great graphics, great help with my vehicle guide and misunderstood, no matter the attitude. Well done on your attitude turn around, you deserved to stay mate. xxxSIDESH0Wxxx - Great guy, good forum poster and runs the Exiles 360 section well. Some good PM discussions with this guy, he's cool. Writers Discussion Community - Cheers to all, every reviewer and feedback leaver. All your help is much appreciated, and has helped me build my skills as a writers. My thanks is extended also to anyone who read (silently or not) my series and one offs; it's more appreciated than you'd think. And I extend my respect to any man, woman or child who tries hard to write well and improve, your struggle will pay off! Shin Ra. Corp - Great gang, with a little role play mixed in. They started like wild fire, and I was glad to join too. ----------------- Every mod, every good poster, and every graphic designer around, get's my respect. My profile has a few more guys that I respect, I didn't want the list a mile long though, so I removed a few! If I've forgotten you (here or on mah profile), please mention here along with your free one post that get's you closer to your own milestone, whether that be 1k or 10. Cheers for reading. Much <3 Ciao. U R B A N I T A S

The-King
Could tell it was a milestone a mile away because of two factors. First, the NYPD doesn't measure anything using metric units, in fact I doubt there is any US governmental organization outside of the scientific field that uses metric. Second they wouldn't release how much C4 was discovered, hell, they would probably try to keep the whole situation under wraps in general. If this happened no one would know about it, informational leaks notwithstanding. Congratulations and sh*t. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|

El Zilcho
Well, It wasn't exactly the best kept secret, now was it? Thanks for the kind words in this time of need, when everyone is terrified of the 12,000 kilos of C4. I needed comforting, that's for sure. I mean, that would be enough to blow through 3.6km of frozen solid ice. Anyway, gratz and stuff.
