FBI Truck Discussion

From what I've read, The FBI Truck was supposed to Appear in a Mission called

The Truth Is Out There, Some Rescue Mission based on Alcatraz,

or whatever name in the GTA world.

Since Alcatraz was removed, and so was the Mission, The FBI Truck remained a Working Vehicle.

Well, I wondered, What If the FBI Truck appeared in Other Missions,

and what if GTASA v.2 had some OTHER edits other than the Hot Coffee Fix?

What about during Misappropriation?

I saw a Video Walkthrough, that if the Guy gets away,

you can still chase him down with the Helicopter.

He lands on the Emerald Isle rooftop,

but what happens after that?

FBI Truck may be in GTA San Andreas after all, (MAYBE) I'm going to do that mission and follow that guy where ever he goes. I normally kill him when he gets down on that helipad.

Are you meaning the SWAT truck or the Black SUVs the FBI use to chase CJ when he gets 4 or more stars

You chase him and kill him before he gets into the building.

I usually jetpack to the scene and kill him before he and his pals can get to the helo at the pueblo.

To me the Black SUVs driven by the FBI don't look like the Ranchers.

Right the FBI isn't a Rancher, Thank You.

I've never seen the Armoured van before.

I would think the game would need to be modded to allow it.

So the conversation needs to go to the Modding Forum?

theres a difference FBI Rancher, FBI Truck. R* states that FBI Truck is named "FBI Truck" Not SUV. But yes, you are right the armored truck sounds more appealing than FBI Truck. I guess we got lazy and called it "FBI Truck"

I don't think this discussion is going to be related to any modding, its just a discussion and of how and when. Am I right Terminator-UK?

I know People use Spawn Tools, and Claim it spawned there Naturally..

I'm talking about the Possiblity of the FBI Truck spawning during a Mission,

Or maybe it spawning somewhere in GTASA v.2

When you say GTASA v.2 what do you mean?

FBI Truck is hidden in San Andreas files. Brady Games and Prima have the FBI Truck in the vehicle database, so it is possible to have the FBI Truck spawning in one a mission. Just like the SWAT Tank.

No chance of a Natural spawn.

You will have to modify the game somehow.

Then how is the FBI Truck even in the San Andreas files. I thought SWAT Tank was legendary but you can get it on a mission. Brady Games and Prima have it in their guide books. So that does state that the FBI Truck does exist without using mods, patchs. Which means it does exist in the game without using mods/patchs.

The 'natural' triggers for the spawn have been excised from the game.

Without the triggers nothing will activate the spawn.

The game would have to have the programing (scripts) changed, which means Moding.

I know it's f*cking possible using mods, but I don't give a sh*t about that(!) mad.gif

I'm talking about some Missions where it could spawn.

and GTASA v2 had the Hot Coffee Mod edit, maybe R* could have edited some other stuff.

If R* did take off FBI Truck, then why does Brady Games and Prima San Andreas guide book have that vehicle in their vehicle database?

the books are prepared from data in the game.

The data may be present, but there is no trigger to allow the data to be used in the actual game.

Oh I see what you mean. Something happens it spawns. A trigger. But how does anybody know that there is no trigger. But there is a trigger.

the vehicle Never appears naturally.

Has never appeared, except when the game program was modded. As in the illustration on this topic page.

It's odd it's called an FBI Truck, yet it has SAPD Markings..

The FBI Truck would have appeared once, Just like how the SWAT Tank appeared once in End Of The Line.

But, I could be wrong, and it might appear somewhere else along the Storyline.

Anything can happen during a Mission which is unrelated, Like During Interdiction for Toreno.

A Camper spawns as you go to get the Package. It has a Preist and Hooker inside.

Maybe a glitch? Does it show when you mod?

Well if you'd really like to insist that the vehicle might be in the v2 of SA, I guess the only way to find that out is to try it for yourself if it can be spawn somehow in one of the missions.

Good luck tounge.gif

Oh I see what you mean. Something happens it spawns. A trigger. But how does anybody know that there is no trigger. But there is a trigger.

Because people who have moddified the game also saw the code in the main.scm (the file that determines what happens in the game) and noticed there is no spawn places (its not even mentioned), and GTA SA nuts who havent modded the game have searched every square inch of San Andreas and havent found a single spawn area. Also a spawn trigger is just a line of code thats called a parked car generater. So there is no place's that R* left in the game that have a FBI Truck (what its called in the gta3.IMG). That site you said had a vehicle list, it just show's all vehicles that exsist in the vehicle files, and most likely the site is just an informent for modders.

Also, The Truth Is Out There is a mod, correct me if I'm wrong, made by gtasearcher. Not a mission developed by R*.

I think he made that mod for those who are Interested in the Beta Versions of SA..

The Truth Is Out There took place on an Island in San Fierro Bay.

See Lil Probe Inn Map for Info.

I always wanted to drive the FBI Truck, but I don't have a cheat device for my PS2. The thing is that the FBI Truck isn't a truck, nor is the S.W.A.T. a tank. They both are APCs.

Just to clarify things about the FBI truck, it DOES exists in an unmodded game, however, it does not spawn, just like the S.W.A.T. van, just that it doesnt even spawn in a mission.

And for those who havent ever got to drive one, it's not that exciting, it's just like any other big vehicle but it doesnt tip over so easily.

And finally, The Truth is Out There is a beta mission, as found as evidence in the text files, and it DOES NOT take place on an island or Alcatraz or whatever, but in Bayside aka Boat school island

Just a note:

The S.W.A.T. vehicle is a modified Armoured Scout Car adapted from the M8 Greyhound. Which carried a 12.5 mm machine Gun on an open ring or a 37mm Anti-tank gun in a turret (where the water cannon is here.) It is not intended to carry personnel, only to disperse crouds.

(APC = Armoured Personnel Carrier)
