ssccrab Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to use the latest build of Alice in GTA 4 on PC. I've tried installing the needed files in the main GTA directory (C>Prog Files>R* Games>GTAIV) and installing the lua files in the Alice folder, like I'm supposed to. When I load up the game through "LaunchGTAIV" in the main dir (I should note here that I'm using the crack by 'Fedor') the installed lua doesn't work at all. I've even tried installing xliveless (after removing dsound.dll), but to no avail, it still doesn't work. I do have some other mods installed, such as one that changes the vehicle logo's to real life logo's, and one that skips the intro loading screens. These work fine. My version of GTA is 1.0.2. Would anyone happen to know what's going on and why I can't get any of my Alice mods to work? Thanks for your help! I've figured it out: The problem was that I didn't have the correct patch installed (I had 1.0.2 instead of 1.0.3). I'm so lame, lol . Thanks!
