skiddmark
I forget which mission this was, one where you have to cap a Haitian at a "funeral" at the pizza place in L. Haiti. I jacked the black Voodoo and stored it but it disappeared from the garage, really ticked me off as it looked very cool.
MC.
Damn, that sucks man. Yeah I would get real pissed off as well. I believe the mission you're referring to is Two Bit Hit. Do you check your garages often? I got this vehicle first and put it inside a garage at Sunshine Autos and left the door open, seeing as the vehicle can't be repaired during a mission. Then I got the Romero and passed the mission.
flicko
Tough break there buddy, although the black Voodoo is arguably no different to the regular Voodoo. You've got to be careful when doing things like this; I myself have done the same in the past. But for future reference, if you want to save a vehicle in a spot as you go to another spot, make sure you run away as soon as you exit the vehicle, leaving the door open in the process. That will ensure that the vehicle will remain in that exact spot until you return to it. MC_320, sounds tricky. I assume when you stole the Black Voodoo that in turn you triggered the ganglord to flee in his Hearse? If that is the case then you would have had to do a lot of catching up to him. I know it is possible though, since the ganglord can get pretty far away from you before you end up failing the mission.
MC.
Nah, b. It was pretty easy. It doesn't matter how far away the gang lord drives away because no matter how far he was, the mission did not fail.
skiddmark
Yea, it was two-bit-hit. I'm accustomed to using "left" when getting out of a car to keep the door open if I want to increase the chance it'll be there if I get a little too far away, especially the proofed Admiral which disappears very easily. The garage it seems, would negate the need for that. The missing black Voodoo was a nasty surprise. I made a clamp for my keyboard which I use in VC and SA to keep the rear of the car jacked up It stays that way when you get out of the car too. I thought as much. I too have noticed that the Haitian gang-lord can get very far away without you failing the mission (I can vividly remember me staying in Little Haiti, then checking my map to see the gang-lord at the East-side of Starfish Island), so would assume that it is very possible to do. skiddmark, have you yet got your hands on the black Voodoo? Or have you decided not to try and attain it & continue with your game..?
