Only if you dont distribute it to people who plainly use it to bring the whole game to its knees. In which case you are a modder who creates cheats for people... Dude, dont be playing a massively mainstream game that happens to have the trait of being massively vulgar and then play the 'lets all be grownups' card... You sound like you have yet to see the problem in MP since you seem to never venture beyond free mode... Why do you get so concious tho? i think using cheats in any mode is cheating.. you dont... somehow. Yet you claim to never leave free mode but you feel like you are under attack every time someone calls a mod user a cheat (which they clearly are) Youve got f*cking problems mate, if you dont see that someone spawning silos across a whole island rendering the whole race un-finishable as cheating (even though it doesnt adhere to your cheating = things that help people win narrow assed interpretation) then go f*ck yourself in your intellectually dishonest face. Most cheats atm arnt interested in the slightest in winning, or competing on any level, so your definition of cheating is useless. You probably want to call them griefers or something to distance yourself from the stigma of being associated with 'cheats' but i dont see any need to afford you that semantic babble, they are cheats, simple as f*ck. Since i dont have thrid-world-esque trailer parks in my country i dont think it translates across continents very well. Don't b*tch about mods existing - they will always be available because there will always be brilliant coders out there writing them. Outlawing guns because of some bad apples will never, ever happen - and it shouldn't happen because it doesn't address the problem. The same thing goes for mods in a game like GTA. BTW i read this in his crap trainer:PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS TO ANYONE WHO MAY ABUSE IT( rofl hey does Abuse his own trainer on people. Private mods are only fun as long as they stay that way. no its not private anymore. Really? How do you "cheat" at freemode? If I choose to enable godmode when you whiners shoot at me for having mods, is that wrong? I have been in a case where in freemode, I used a modified handling file, and some whiner killed me when he saw it. Is this what you're getting at? "Sh*t rammed down our throats", that's such BS. Most of use use the most minuscule modifications, that don't affect anyone but us. We have fun with other modders because we want more from IV, and you accuse us of being the same jackass that uses rocket-glocks and godmode in ranked matches. DRMetzger Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 acctually I've had hasfailure crashes on my end when others were playing with mods, I'd think it would be hard to say others running a mod aren't responsible for that since it has only happened to me when people with mods were present, even just a skin or 1 car..
