P.S. i love mods, unfortunately, theres no mods for gta until there is a place for them to be used. Mods used in normal multi are cheats. It's fine that you paid for the game and decide to cheat while playing by yourself, but when you start to play with everybody, there lies the problem. So the game is for everybody when you step into the multiplayer, unless all the players with you in the gaming session uses mods, then I suppose that would not be a problem. All you need is some freeware software like Audacity, Virtual dub (the video editor produces avi files, right?) and lame mp3 acm codec. * make sure that your clips don't contain any music of their own (does the video editor record the radio? If it does, just shut down the radio during recording) * open the video in Virtual dub and choose "direct stream copy" under Audio menu, then "save wav..." under file menu. This will demux the audio and produce an mp3 file, even though the extension will be .wav. Don't close vdub just yet. * now load that .wav file in audacity (it will automatically decompress the file) and then drag and drop your tunes into the audacity program window. * here you can adjust various crap, set fade in and fade out, adjust volume, play back speed and whatnot * when you're done, you can go to file menu in audacity and export the whole clip as .wav file (it will be quite large for a longer video, but no worries). It will automatically downmux everything into stereo. * finally, we're back in virtual dub, under audio menu choose "wav audio..." and choose the file audacity outputed * still under audio menu choose "full processing mode" then "compression...", on the list find lame codec you previously installed and choose 128kbps CBR. * finally, under video menu, select "direct stream copy" and then file> "save as avi..." * wait for it to finish (should be few minutes) Done and done! Cuz I didn't really understand it Anyway I wanted to have my musics in video editor, so I can adjust the video, like it'll "go" with the music. Ahm I don't know how to explain, but when the music stops and starts playing in a different style (like guitar stops playing, but drums starts playing) then I can change camera in video editor and it'll make the video look nice. What I mentioned above allows you to put any background music you want on your clip, but what you need would require plenty of time and nerves. You could prepare your mp3 and run it in the background while editing and then try to pinpoint the exact moment when you want something changed. hoolio22g Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 I uninstalled GTA about a month ago cause of the cheaters in multiplayer,but I see this new patch and reinstalled thinking the cheaters will be gone for a bit.But holy sh*t they were still there and worse than ever,its got even sillier than what it was a month ago.Now these pricks have a cheat for slow motion which is really f*cking annoying.And then my game was going from day to night,rain to sunny etc in an instant,I seriously thought my game was broke but it was just this little prick f*cking with the weather and time of day. yes I agree with mods in games,but this is just getting silly and is ruining the game for non-modders.I cant wait for the day when R* fix this and we get rid of all this crap. It's really sad to see the amount of modders f*cking with other players and crashing peoples games by spamming tugs. I swear, there would be way more people playing online if it wasn't for these guys messing up the game. Most of the people I talk to say they don't play online because of the cheaters. Then the cheaters say they're not cheating. They say they're "modding", even though what they're doing is the equivalent of cheating. God mode? In other games is that a mod or a cheat? It's a cheat. And I'm sick of people using it in MP. I'm all for modding as long as it's only done in singleplayer and not multiplayer where these people are eligible to destroy the game for others. I guess it's going to stay like this since Rockstar Toronto's amateur coders don't have a clue how to properly block modded files. And then the cheaters joined,started spawning sh*t and talking bollox about how hard they are,and ruined it so everyone left.When are these modders gonna understand that they are killing the game,not helping it.which for me is what mods should do,they should improve the game and give ya something different to try. but surely it cant be too hard for R* to block the modded files,I dunno Im not that computer savvy but all what they are doing is mucking about with in-game files so just block em and only allow non-modded files to join multiplayer Edited June 21, 2009 by hoolio22g Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
