I've started modding as soon as I managed to play on Multiplayer. The worst thing I have now is realistic driving and flying in MP, and car spawning. Haven't used anything else. And if you consider vehicle spawn a cheat, you can go to hell.

 

Then you are a cheat, simple fact. And a remorseless cheat at that. Whats stopping you ruining the whole game or even crashing the server as soon as someone condescends you or even just pisses you off a little? Power corrupts, and blah blah blah, if you dont know the rest youre not old enough to play this game anyway.

 

 

What is it for you if I drive an admiral or a pmp600? Nothing, it simply makes me feel better to drive my favourite car. And I'm only in non-ranked freemode, using Realistic Driving...

 

If you cant enjoy a game on the basis that it was relieased and have to resort to unbalanced modifications to satisfy your spoilt ego, then you are a cheat. Thats fine, but dont condemn people to hell for it, get yourself down to Cheaters Anonymous, ive heard they can really help with people who have lost their dicks in amputation accidents, and maybe then you wont have to cheat on open games to make you feel better.

You don't outnumber a f*cking thing. The majority of people are looking for resolutions that will accommodate all of us legitimate players.

You grossly missed the point. R* does indeed support noncheaters. Ever heard of the last patch? Which was then later was compromised again by modders. You see, you live in a fantasy world where you think that R* support the modding community. Sorry to break your dream.

 

 

On about your statement regarding the minority and the majority thing: I don't know where you have been since the last patch, but I can I assure you that the majority of players online in competitive modes are not cheaters: consisting of an average of 15 to 1 in most gaming sessions favoring the noncheaters. The majority of people who do use cheats, are pretty much carspawners with godmoders being placed 2nd and other rare cheats following such as spawning objects to name a few. How many do you play everyday? I don't care to know since it is obvious you can't see the woods for the trees.

Rockstar DOES support modding in single player. So much so, that they even registered the domain [www.moddersrule.com] (or something similar) quite recently.

Rockstar DOES NOT support modding in multiplayer matches. So much so, that they are implementing anti-mod features into the GTAIV patches.

 

Rockstar DOES support cheating\trainers in single player. So much so, that they even included cheats in GTAIV, and have let trainers go undetected in single player thoughout the various patches

Cheating: Taking advantage of another player by using god mode, by using hacks.

Now I have a real f*cking big advantage with my realistic driving, cuz I can go faster. BTW I crash my car with 100 Km/h my car is dead... WOW ZOMG H4X.

My drift handling is also a big advantage againsts players, since I can drift while they can't. Oh and I'm slower then them...

My choppers handle like in Flight Simulator, therefor I can hardly even stay in air. Some1 hits me, then it's 90% that I'll crash. Some1 hits the other vanilla chopper, it won't go down, or if it does, it'll be able to get back in air.

Since I'm not in Race mode or GTA Race (only in freemode), not to mention that I'm always in player match and not ranked, I don't take any advantages...

GTA's future is modding. Isn't that cool when you see a 747 fly over your head and you know it's not the AI driving it?

I was referring to multiplayer. And yes I don't care about single player. That is up to whoever uses the mod tools.

No one is questioning what modders have created for kiddies like yourself to use. Were just questioning your right to bend the rules to your will (cheating). What if someone does something you simply think is cheating and you use the kicker to kick a clean player? By the sounds of your post, your such a low-skilled gamer that you would probably make that mistake time and time again.

 

You can rail against fair play as much as you like and try and bend your perceptions to feel like your the good guy, but dont be surprised when you have to wait for new mods to come out when R* get around to blocking the current ones.

No one is really saying he is the problem. Hes just saying its not cheating. Given that blind ignorance i feel justified in pointing out that what he does would be considered cheating in single player, let alone multi.

 

Also, when a player simply wont accept that what he does is cheating (destructive or not), when its such a simple concept, and he also comes onto the forum saying things like 'im gonna get a SS of me doing great in DM without using cheats' when he cant even accept that he is generally cheating by using cheats, means that i dont think clean players have any requirement to trust a single thing he says.

 

Sure hes not the enemy, but there would be no issue if gta modders adhered to the convention and created a separate game executable to cordon off their modifications from the normal community, only then can they call themselves legit modders, till then they are all cheaters.

 

He, and others like him ARE the problem, these people get bored with free mode and bring their mods to other game types because its quicker to just join a game than it is to copy 16 GB of files to restore your vanilla copy of GTA...

 

Most cheats i encounter are just speedhackers, superbrakers and spawners, all cheats that are used in freemode but will ruin the enjoyment of this game for the larger audience.

I've already told you, I don't kick any1, I just annoy the sh*t out of those people who uses god mode and rocket uzi to kill other people. It's lame. As for my skills... Usually I can kill anybody on the server, without cheats, without mods, without autoaim. I got kicked several times for being a pro. WTF??? These people are idiots, when they see some1 being too good, then they kick him out. I was playing on freemode. I didn't even spawn when 2 guys started shooting me and I was dead before I could say supercharger. After my respawn I killed both of them with only a pistol (yes it was unmodified and if you don't believe me you can go f*ck yourself cuz I don't care), they respawned got a car, tried to kill me again and I killed both of them again. Then they made a succesful kick vote against me for saying fail... And they were always complaining, awh f*cking cheater zomgh4xgtfonoob, ah f*cking auto aimer...

I'm using keyboard and mouse so no auto-aim, no god mode, no mods, no nothing. This happened several times, so it's not me who "judges" too quickly...

 

EDIT: GFWL won't ban anybody. Live with it. If they do, the cheater will make another account. We don't need to slow the cheaters, we need to stop them, and to do that, the best method is what I'm using... You should be thankful for that...

Mods are not only weapon and health mods that make you uber strong and resilient. GTAIV hasn't come to that yet, but there will be a variety of mods like car or character/ped models, scripted functionality, map enhancements or entirely new maps, buildings, retexturing (OK, probably not this time around ), wepon models, better sounding sound effects, better looking visual effects...

 

The list goes on. Of course, the most affected by all of this was SA of course as it was rather popular and the engine at the same time offered most functionality seen in a GTA game and most dementia as it really showed his age at the time.

 

Mods extend gameplay, but the problem, at the time being, is that lamers use them to cheat. Mostly.

Psymn do me a favour. DON'T INSTALL ANY MODS ON YOUR GTA. Not even new models when they'll be out, cuz it's cheating. You cheat by using another model, while others play with their sh*tty gameplay model. Don't take any fast cars in Multiplayer because it's cheat. Don't kill people when you have spawn protect, don't even pick up new better guns, because it's cheat.

Believe me there are some people who can play freemode without god mode. 30% cheater 60% modders (who don't do sh*t) and 10% vanilla game users (gee this sounded dumb )

now in that 10%: 8% genetically different (in a bad way, so it's more like genetically retarded) and 2% who understands it's just a game and doesn't care about modders, but only cheaters... (I usually help these guys out)

On that thread (if you recall) we were specifically talking about free and party mode, which is a NON competitive game mode. so cheating is logically not possible.

mods are really f*cking pain in my ass lol . i don't use mods. well today a f*cktard ruined my multiplayer freeroam. well i was alone in my freeroam . i was just testing the latest drivers fps and all sh*t. suddenly he came and i said hiii. he also said hiii and then............ so then, i tell story-

 

he spawned a car . well a aninialator right in f*cking front of mine. i said WTF! don't f*cking cheat, help me destroy poilice ass here . but that f*ck replied me in a morely or i say very cruel way - chopped me with the aninilator blades . i then used rocket launhcer and blowed his f*cking ass right there . but he spawned many card and smashed me one by one. . and so my multiplayer freemode testing wasd ruined. luck me that he got disconnected because i think of his slow pc as he was ust shooting loads of rockets and heli. . i then completed my testing. this was my first multiplayer experience of cheaters . note i just got the game 5 days ago

Ok I appreciate this is an emotive issue and both sides feel strongly about the respective stances on the issue but could everyone do it with a little bit less flaming. This is exactly where the problem lies. People cant control themselves. Rob even says he uses net kicker to oust people from his game when he THINKS they are cheating. This guy quoted above uses cheats against people he doesnt like because hes french. Its all too uncontrollable which is why the only true mods are those that are server-side. Anything else may be a mod, but it as also a cheat.

 

It really doesnt get any simpler than that, and if you cant see it, or if you insist on splitting definitions with a razor blade to enable you to squeeze an ounce of legitimacy into what you use them for, just sounds like you are spoiled kids to me. Its not about what you do on a daily basis, its about what you can do when you bump into someone who you dont like, and commence crashing servers, netkicking and godmoding against clean players who you simply dont like for one reason of another...

 

One thing i know for a f*cking fact is that non of you idiots are responsible enough to actually have the capability to ruin the game. And this game and its reputation is, to a large degree being ruined.
