PM Signature weirdness

Not a big deal at all, but whenever I send PM's with my current signature, it gets all screwy. I don't really know how to explain it, so I took a picture:

Wondering why this happens, and if there's anything I can do about it. Again, no biggie since I hardly send PM's, but it's interesting enough I thought I'd ask.

I think it's got more to do with the PS2 tag to be honest. Since when I enter the tags, example being like this-

 

 

:L2:  :L1:  :select:  :start:  :square:  :X:  :circle:  :triangle:  :R1:  :R2:

 

.. and then preview my post, it will actually show two images for each tag, each with an arrow in-between, something like this (I put the arrows in manually)-

 

--> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> -->

 

I've got no idea why it does it though, but when I make the post with the tags in, the second duplicate image & arrow will be gone.

It's not the table - My sig when posting normally is fine (see below). Only in PMs do I get this issue.

Hmm, that's new. I copied your code then hit preview and got:

 

-->'L2' -->'L1' -->'select' -->'start' -->'square' -->'X' ->'circle' -->'triangle' -->'R1' -->'R2'

 

The plot thickens...

It comes up with two buttons and the arrow for me as well in the preview.

 

If I remember right, the old cheat code box had the arrow between the buttons when you put them in. maybe the preview post function uses old code, or something?
