I have never seen two gangs fighting, which is a pity as I used to loved watching the famous Cuban vs. Hatian/Grove st. Vs. Ballas gang wars back in 'Nam. The best one is when you, Packie, Gordan and Micheal steal some money and escape on boat, I call the (Dwaynes crew) Hustlers before I get in the marker during the missions and jump over the fence, I got 5 people with me while I can relax, hella fun. xxxSIDESH0Wxxx Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 i went to get some food at a diner once, everything was normal. i pulled up, went inside, and regained my health. when i walked back outside, i was in the middle of a gang shootout. i opened fire on some guy near me, and was quickly shot to death by both gangs at once. Mafioso86 Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 I never really see them outside of missions in IV (unless you're talking about them fighting cops or Niko), which is a shame because I always liked them in the previous games. I've actually noticed that in areas where gang territories overlap, places you would think would be hotbeds for gang wars, you instead see members of different gangs hanging out together. Go to Alderney City where you'll see the Korean mobsters hanging out with the Spanish Lords or Acter where you'll see Lost and MOB hanging out together. I think so anyways. That is pretty cool though and Hove Beach is great for that. I've also seen things get pretty crazy in Chinatown, Firefly Projects, and Beachwood City just because there are so many gangsters and if you're lucky a few cops will be around. Yeah, I believe there are like 3 or 4 guys that come after you in the gun stores. I remember once shooting someone and two cars pulled up and started taking shots at me. I rang 911, got the police and it all kicked off. There are always more likely than not Three Spanish Lords talking on the corner. I started hitting one, and another joined in. I beat them both around, to notice the third running away. For the sake of it, I gave chase. I chased him on foot all the way to Industrial, but he was fast. I commandeered a Merit and slowly began to follow him back into South Bohan. Eventually I drove into the back of him and he fell down, and got back up and took me out of my car. I was about to hit him back, when out of nowhere, a Cop shoots him five times. But this guy got back up AGAIN. When he stumbled back into South Bohan, I shot him. I spared him the headshot, but it prompted another group of Spanish Lords attention, so bullets are slamming into me and i'm diving for cover. I did take the guys out, but this was just one of the many times this has happened, and it's great. One of my favorite things to do outside of missions is going on mission-related gang killing spree's. For instance, After "It's your call", I killed some Albanians to even the score for chasing Niko and Roman After "Russian Revolution" and particuarly "Hostile Negotiation" I have several shootouts with the Russians Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Deciding I had enough time, I stopped short of the destination to find a car of my own. I could see no parked cars, so I went to carjack one off the street. Now this is before I ever did any missions for Ray, so I had no idea there were gangs in "Little Italy". Duh! A sweet looking PMP600 rolls up, and I point my gun at the driver. Usually the driver exits the car and takes off running, but not this time. Big ol' Vito and his cousin fat Paulie step out and start blasting away. I run and hide behind some cover as peds jump out of their cars and run screaming down the street. I'm blasting away with my 9, and the fat twins are shooting back at me. I run behind a car in the middle of the road and take cover. Slim and Tiny start running after me, obviously pissed. Somehow the fat black cop gets involved and now I have the whole weight-watchers team after me. I take off and jump in the PMP that I was after all along. The mobsters are shooting holes in my trunk as I take off. I check my phone and notice that I'm running out of time for my first date with Kiki! So I decide to take the nearest side street to loose the cops. It was about this time that I noticed the screaming coming from the backseat. Somehow, durring this epic shootout and chase, one man stayed behind in the car. I just carjacked Don Corleone! So after loosing the cops, I pull the car to a stop to let him out. He leaps out like a p*ssy and I take off for my important date. Well, like a bad action flick, olive oil decides to take one final shot at me. He opens up with the pistol, hitting my new car several times. Having none of this, I put the car into reverse and run him over. After all that, my car is too shot-up. I stole another one. You've just reminded me of The Soprano's, scene at 5:30, where Paulie Walnuts comments on Vito and Bobby Baccala as "It's like weight watchers, before, and after". I like picking on the mob. I just wish they spawned in more places other than Little Italy and Westdyke. Once I listened in on a conversation between two Mafia wiseguys, "Hey, if you were there in my situation, you would'a set him on fire too!". He soon pulled out an SMG, and was joined by Combat Shotgun toting accomplices. Sometimes if your lucky, you'll get guys from two different families spawn, and it will look like a scene from Satriales when they're sitting in front of Drusilla's. If "Gouranga" was ever baught back from GTA1, that would be a hotspot for a good splattin'. This Guy is the spit of Big Pussy Bonpensiero, and if you bump into him, he'll turn around "Eh, yah mom's box!" which just warrants a 12 guage to the face The Pegorino Family are tough guys, though. I was playing The Lost & Damned, hunting for a couple of the Peg's finest around the old mansion, when I got into a fight with Tracksuit Tony. Johnny seems to miss quite a lot with that powerful left hook(and if it hits, it's a knockout), so I ended up getting smacked myself. The police saw that, and a stand-off begins. At first it seems as if the mobster is going to get his arse handed to him, getting shot three times, but amazingly he went through the two cops with the SMG. Then he turns on me, so I called 911. Another set of cops turn up, and he takes down a third before being shot himself! They don't make em' like that, anymore. I've just ran through some of the Korean Mob in Alderney City. One of them threatened to "I inject you with Hepetitis!", and a gun-battle ensued. They seem to side with the Spanish Lords. Hell, if you can lead them to the building opposite the safehouse, the one with the closed underground parking garage, a couple of security guards will join in too, which makes for an interesting shootout between the Spanish Lords/Korean Mob, Security Guards, Alderney Police and Niko. (Edit) Just this minute i've been causing trouble in Little Italy. I punched a couple of guys and the police got involved, so I legged it on foot and got shot up a bit, down to my last bar of health. So I hijacked a Cavalcade, driven by a Mobster, and began to reverse. The normal physics didn't kick in, as the guy was running into the door, and was doing so as I reversed down the street towards the cop station. When the door came off when I hit the tree, I noticed this guy was STILL there. He pulled a Pistol, and that was my crime spree ended with being shot through the windscreen. An eye for an eye. Jackal1337 Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 to have cool gang fights do it like this: after you have Little Jacob as friend, Jamaican gang will be friendly to you, they will defend you, go to Homebrew cafe in Beechwood and hit 2 or 3 or more people from street so they get angry to you dont let them hit you so jamaican wont start defending before supposed to, when you have angry people chasing you run in to homebrew cafe and get behind that guy near pool table let angry people who chased you hit him, and voila! you have massive fist fight and sometimes even with knifes! if you are fast enough go and stand in front of door to block the exit so possible coward guys cant escape Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
