Doxic Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 I understand all the install issues people have with this game but with piracy the way it is I kind of understand. What I don't understand is the new control and camera system. The feel of the vehicles is more true to life but the damn camera is so slow and annoying. I would have loved a static as an camera option or at least allow me to drive without having to reset camera angles each time I go round a corner. Speed the camera up so Im not looking at my vehicle licence number for 3 seconds after turning. I also hate how we are limited to what keys and mouse buttons to natively use in game. I thought this was meant to be an upgrade from SA? I loved VC and SA but Ive found it very easy to leave this frustrating game even though some of its others features are brilliant. Hydro_PT Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 You have to get used to it. Tbh I love the camera, it's much better to use your mouse to look around and centre it. I love that feature since it was introduced in SA. If I go back to Vice City or III I find it very hard and primitive not being able to freely move the camera around the car. It helps you doing corners and drive-bys, once you get used to it. As for the keys, on the last patch Rockstar allowed the players to configure all or almost all keys, so I don't see that as a problem. Before you had to get used to it, as some keys like ENTER could not be configured. Tbh it's just a matter of time, and I think you're going to love it once you get used to it.
