This could help some of you to boost their fps rate. V1 and V2 have been released. V1 improvements: - DX10 mode compatible with every GPU - Shaders recompilation for the ATI / NVIDIA GPU - Game performances and graphics(sets) improvement - High definition textures and new management physics management - New textures decompression management which avoids unnecessary accesses to the hard disk - fix some collision bugs V2 improvements: - Textures decompression correction -Fixed FX now compatible with NVIDIA GPU - G80 G80/G90/GT200 G90 Shaders Recompiled , same thing for G60 / G70 low details shaders. - Tymecyc improvement -biggest explosions Download it here V3 improvements: In progress Enjoy. shantam777 Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 (edited) Sure Well it modifies many graphics related files and shaders...bundled is a new commandline and a new timecyc and visualsettings...it increases fps and forces all things on high.Before I played on low settings still my IV lagged...now even on Highest settings..it doesn't lag much...And I was unable to install any rockstar's patches...(texp70 error)..so I guess..It was a lifesaver for my IV and now I can finally enjoy the IV awesomeness...thanks again man. Well, installing these patches did allow to me turn some of my settings up higher and the game runs kinda smoother now, though I still can't turn my texture settings to high or run the game at a 1680x1050 resolution without having the whole world just disappear. So, yeah, I can say this patch is pretty good. Also, when installing the V2 patch, I received a bunch of messages that said something in french and had some filenames written in them, with "Abort", "retry" and "ignore" selections in each. I mean, it can't just magically improve the stock game and improve the stock game without 'removing/modifying' something? E.g: It could be possible if they remove shadows in order to make it run smoother... or reflections... or something... Any solid documentation?
