100% Question

There are a number of missions that involve driving or flying through checkpoints and having your time recorded. You can then repeat these missions and if you beat your recorded time you can earn more money than the last time you completed the missions. (For example missions like, 'Test Track', 'Trial By Dirt', and the Helicopter Checkpoint missions.)

In order to get 100% I know you have to do these missions at least once. I was wondering if you had to do them more than once and beat your own time limit or not.

So my question, do you have to do these timed checkpoint missions only once or multiple times to get 100%?

Thanks in advance!

You don't have to do that missions more then once for the 100%. But every time you beat your own record with for example Test Track or Trial by Dirt you will get a higher reward. But beware with beating your own record: after you beat your own record at Test Track for the third time, there will be some guys from Patrol Invest Group in a Rancher follow you. If you beat your own record at Trial by Dirt for the third time, there will be Haitians on a Sanchez follow you.

You will also get a higher reward after beating other things more then once, like Cone Crazy. But it is only necessary to beat those side missions once for the 100%.

You only need to do them once, however if you do them and don't first place or beat the indicated time, you'll need to redo it until you do.

For side-missions like these-

-- Test Track

-- Trial By Dirt

-- All four of the Chopper Checkpoints

You do not have to beat a set time; simply completing them will reward you with that additional percentage (Which is less than zero, so do not fret if it doesn't immediately boost your total percentage). In races, and time trials, a la Cone Crazy & PCJ Playground, you do have to beat a set time, although it isn't very difficult at all.

What is important is if each time is showing in your stats. So, to check, pause your game and check. In some cases, even if you have completed both Trial By Dirt & Test Track, the time will not show on your stats, due to a glitch. If this is the case with you, then yes, you will have to re-do one of them again. If it still doesn't show on the stats then re-do the other one, and keep alternating until both show in your stats. When they do, both will read the same time, which is inaccurate, but it will also mean that the game has registered them as completed and thus up your percentage.
